[OOC:] I have no idea.... I just started rolling with something.
Icarus sat on the bed and was about to speak when Jethrow butted it. As they talked the girl got comfy on the bed. It was soft and she was still tired since Jethrow hadn't let her go to sleep in the dining room.

[OOC:] All right then. Allon-sy! Sarah frowned a little, wondering if Icarus was reacting poorly to blood multipliers or having her blood drained. The nurse started checking little vital signs, before saying she'd be running a few tests. She drew a small amount of Icarus' blood and disappeared again, leaving Jethrow to sit down in a chair.

Icarus let Sarah do as she pleased, checking her vitals and taking some of her blood. The nurse then disappeared while Jethrow sat down. The girl laid down in the bed and sighed a little. She wanted to go to sleep, but Jethrow and Sarah probably wouldn't let her.

While Sarah was running the tests, she noticed that the blood came up positive for everything. This worried her, because it was impossible for everything to be wrong. She started to run the tests some more, and she put the blood under a computer microscope to have a look.
Jethrow would glance over at Icarus occasionally, but mostly just slumped in his chair and said nothing. At some point, someone being discharged glanced curiously at Icarus, and he shot them a glare that seemed to be enough to cause them to disappear in a hurry.

Once Icarus was sure neither of them would bother her for a while, the girl made herself comfortable. She got under the covers and rolled onto her side, her back to the vampire. Once that was done, she put a pillow over her head as per her old habits dictated. One it hid her hair which had not been redyed, and two the old habit was from blocking out the city noise. And it was still effective, the silence now putting her to sleep.

Jethrow didn't comment on Icarus' sleeping, but he leaned against the wall, still hanging out there. He wouldn't stop her from sleep for now. Unless Sarah came and said she needed to wake up.

Icarus remained asleep, her head tucked under the pillow. It kept all the noise away from her mind as it rested and let her dream. Such dreams were comfort, but no doubt she'd never remember then when she awoke.

Jethrow was glad to see that Icarus was sleeping soundly, at least. It was better than her tossing and turning all over the place all the time.

Icarus slept for what felt like ever. All the dreams had been peaceful images and potential futures. Soon the girl awoke and removed her head from under the pillow and glanced around a little. She wondered what had changed since she had been asleep.

Jethrow was no longer sitting in the chair by Icarus' bed, but he was partially visible outside the curtain surrounding Icarus' bed, discussing something angrily and softly with Sarah. "There's no way she's got everything in the world, that's impossible!"

Icarus paused, glancing at the two to listen. Were the results back? She wondered what was going on. So she laid her head down to seem asleep and continued to listen to the two talk.

"You think I don't know that? Of course I do! But we're not getting anywhere! All the tests came back positive, which either means she has everything or nothing wrong with her."

Icarus was getting very confused. Were the tests botched? How could she have everything or have nothing wrong? These things were so confusing. She wanted to go and think for a while. So she silently sat up, making sure not even the mattress creaked or the two heard the curtains rustle. After she was out of there, she slipped into a crowd of released students, blending in as she escaped out of the medical wing.

Finally, Jethrow got frustrated and turned away from Sarah, staring into the now empty bed that he could have sworn Icarus was sleeping in moments ago. "Where the hell did he go?!" he demanded, but his cousin just raised her hands, at a loss for explanation.
Benjamin was wandering through the hallways. No, for once he wasn't looking for Sophia. He'd had to work on a project earlier, and he'd finished before they'd planned to meet up, so he had some time to himself.

Icarus had escaped the medical ward and wandered off to go think. The nurses didn't know what was wrong with her, which was concerning. The girl headed up to the bell tower, managing to climb up the decaying stairway and make it to the belfry. Icarus sat down and stared out at the landscape, wondering what was wrong with her.
