Kat grinned, "You and your tea can suck it."
Freeda looked at Faraday. her arm was broken in six places and resembled a pretzel. Freeda cursed and looked for a brace.

((You RP the Quisidor, yes? Is he not reacting to this at all?))
Malachi hit Kat over the head. Hard. "Do shut up. Your betters are about to have a conversation. Now, Quisidor, you stand accused before the Council..." Malachi extended his arms and spectral images of variously shaped and colored beings appeared on either side of him, obviously other Solaria "...of crimes against the Balance, intent to cause chaos and unrest among the elemental species, Illegal experimentations on unwilling mortals with intent to alter, and various other charges. Does the court bear witness to and accept these charges and all punishments that may be meted out by myself, the Judge, as a result of decisions made by the Council?" In one voice, so strong teh stones of the castle trembled and dust fell from the ceiling, the assembled Solaria said,
"We bear witness to these charges and find them acceptable. Let the Trial commence."

Kate yelped and slammed into the ground. Freeda looked at Malachi with aww.
The quisidor smiled, "Not today. This castle of light may be penatable by you, it's no longer following you." he snapped his fingers and darkness started to encircle the room.

Malachi and the Council spoke as one, in a great voice that itself seemed to be made of living luminescence, a voice that as it sounded turned back the darkness with pure light, warm and soft.
"Who thinks the stars can smother the coming of the day?
Even the Morningstar, at dawn, turns pale and dies away!"

((Has it occurred to you that Malachi might, just might have a price to pay for this kind of Judgement? Solaria are not expected to survive their missions. He'll most likely be killed to avoid Corruption after the trial ends, regardless of the result. To be honest, I just need a plausible excuse to get out of this RP. I came, I tried, I saw it doesn't really suit my RPing style, to be honest. Sorry. crying ))

((Hm... Well I'm at least trying to leave a lasting mark on the RP. BTW after the Trial ends I'm going to post a 100-sided die roll. If it turns up higher than 75 Malachi will be spared. Lower than that and he dies.))
