Arekku heads up to the beach and walks out to the shoreline, "Hey! Lanturn!" Arekku called. For a little while there was no response but then a faint light shown from beneath the surface and the Lanturn's antennae popped out of the water followed by the top of it's body, "Lan!" He called and splashed Arekku with some water.

Lanturn look at the equipment oddly then at Arekku then at the equipment again. He shakes his head and shoots Arekku with a Water Gun. Arekku is pushed over by the forceful water and grumbles, "I'll get you!." He smiles and dives into the water trying to tackle the pokemon but he easily dodges shoots another Water Gun, pushing Arekku back onto the beach. The Lanturn giggled and dove under. Arekku, drenched, peers into the water to try and find the playful pokemon.

Memo suddenly walked out of his room and sang at the top of his lungs, very well of course, and scanned the area for his friends.

"Grr... Alright Lanturn, get ready!" Arekku tossed a pokeball, revealing Arekku's Teddiursa. "Len! Sweet Scent!" Len released an overwhelmingly scrumptious scent into the air that Lanturn came out of the water to smell. Even a few other pokemon came out to smell and watch the battle. Lanturn shook his head a little and accepted the battle invitation. A few sparks flew from it's antennae and shot a Thunderbolt at Len. "Len! Metal Claw, hit the ground!" Len concentrated energy into it's claws and shoved the steel type attack into the ground. When the Thunderbolt hit Len it did a superficial amount of damage and caused some of the sand surrounding the area to become statically charged and float around Len. "Now use Fake Tears!" Len began bawling, easily breaking Lanturn's heart and lowering it's Sp. Def.
Lanturn shook off the heartbreak and shot a Bubblebeam directly into the chest of an unsuspecting Len, sending him hurdling into a rock. "Len!!" Arekku called out worried about his pokemon's safety. Len emerged from the Critical Hit, just barely hanging on. "Len! Use-" He was cut off by the Teddiursa's loud growling. He jumped high into the air seeds building up in it's palm. He slammed the fist down the shells of the seeds exploding in a super effecting Seed bomb attack. Lantrun went skidding across the water's surface, crashing into a rocky formation. "Er... That works to... Alright Len, you can stop now." Arekku tossed a Great Ball, which hit the pokemon square in the face. The ball landed on one the rocks and began shaking, Lanturn trying to break free. But after a while the ball stopped and Arekku knew he'd caught the Lanturn.
"Woo-hoo!" He returned Len smiling, "You did an awesome job Len." He put away the pokeball and swam over to get the pokeball the contained Lanturn. After getting back to the beach Arekku looked at Brian, "Well?" Then he recognized Memo's voice and turned to see his friend, "Yo! Memo!"

"Oh hey Arreku haha."
Memo noticed Arreku's new pokeball in hand and smiled.
"Congrats heh."
He then messed with his hair and and sighed happily.
"So what's new?"

Arekku smiled, "Thank much. Only Lanturn here." He lifted the pokeball. "What about you? Where you've you been at?"

He walks over and motions Arreku to follow.

"Finishing Class, it's been an entire year since I wanted you guys to get real jobs. So, what is a good lvl 5 mission for a Coordinator?" Ginji asked as he threw the phonebook to the ground.
