You should get School Rumble...
I found a coupla summaries and am not compelled to do anything. It sounds.. meh. Explain?
Its really hard to explain...
It initially starts with one girl, Tsukamoto Tenma (who is extremely cute, but more than a little ditzy), who is in love with a boy in her class, Karasuma Ouji (who is, to put it bluntly, kinda strange), and is totally unable to tell him. At the same time, the school's biggest delinquent, Harima Kenji, is totally in love with Tsukamoto and unable to confess his feelings. As the series progresses, further complications are added, like Harima accidentally confessing to Sawachika Eri, one of Tsukamoto's closest friends; a totally misunderstood friendship between Harima and Tsukamoto's younger sister (considered by most of the school to be the most beautiful girl in the school, Yakumo, as well as the perfect woman) which leads to a heated rivalry with Hanai Haruki, her most ardent admirer as well as captain of the karate club; or Imadori Kyousuke's lusting after the body of Suou Mikoto, one of Tsukamoto's friends, while being pursued by Karen Ichijou (who wants nothing more than to become a professional wrestler), who terrifies him with the amazing strength which her petite body is capable of.
Yeah, quite complicated, but the way these (and quite a few other) relationships develop and play out is pure comedy gold. There's a lot more I could try to use to sell the seies, but a fair chunk of em are spoilers.
The group translating this isn't doing it by chapters, but rather by tankubon volumes. They're currently up to volume 5, with six coming soon I believe.
You could always snag the first volume to check out and grab the others if you enjoy it.
