*Maggie's crying so hard that she's shaking, but she's so drained that she can't keep sobbing like that for long, and after a while she begins to quiet again. Her entire body just aches - she can barely hold herself upright.*

*Cross appears as if peering through something..... then his vision focuses on maggie being comforted by bard and he notices Kara.. then Kal.. then Luke..* well.... bugger me....... whats all this then..?

Miss Dowling, Lass.. *Cross looks up to bard and pauses in his way a moment about to ask him what happened.. but seeing the soft emotion of concern in the giant's eyes he side steps and moves out of his way... heading to the bar..*

*Maggie struggles to find her voice through her exhaustion and lingering tears* I . .. Will . . . I should . . . *even though, logically, in the back of her mind, she knows she's not really leaving him alone, part of her feels like she should still be with him. But she's just so weary.*

*cross spins to luke and and Kara.... looking between the two of them then shrugging a bit as he reaches for a bottle of rum...... there was something very nsettling here... a tension he could cut with his saber.... a pity too sincce he was just set to relax from the current tense situation in his own time..*

Alright, Kara, you want to know what happened? *Luke points after them.* Maggie and her son almost ******** DIED tonight. They almost DIED. While you were pushing and shoving all over me, you might have THOUGHT of that.
*He explains sarcastically* You know, thought? Thinking?? Of someone else? It's this wonderful phenomenon a human being is capable of. Maybe you should try it next time before you go to tear my arm off!
