Truly I'm a fan of metaloids, but then half the s**t that get's passed over as what the blades are made of is idiotic. Most notably diamond and silver. Hitting someone with silver is about as effective as hitting them with aluminum. unless they're a werewolf or (depending on the mythos) a vampire. Diamond weapons are conceivable, but so wildly impractical it's rediculous. Now, a thin diamond coating on a weapon of another material is a pretty neat idea.

And ornate weapons designed with unusual, unwieldy materials are actually, often, quite devasting weapons - although, they tend to break with ease, especially more cheaply made ones.
I'm interested.. in what a pure-glass blade, albeit the handle, would do against someone. After all, if it breaks on impact.. ehhhh..

Hay guys, I have thoughts again
Maybe just because you have a rare, and not-heard of too often skill, you aren't inherently better? Like, why use Krav Naga when straightforward kung-fu will do? To tell the truth, unless you have gone to Israel, and seen the kind of urban violence that the martial art is designed for, then enrolled in law enforcement there, the martial art is far less usefull than just street-fighting.
Besides, without actually knowing the techniques, it's pure jackassery to list them as things your character uses. No matter what s/he knows, you are going to do what you think will win the fight, depending on the situation. Not on what styles you "know".
Daily rant completed. Reporting back to base for R&R.

Where normal vibranium absorbs sound and force waves of the sort, Antarctic sends out waves which can destroy any metal by changing it's structure into a liquid state. It is supposedly the only possible object which can destroy the strongest metal in the world (Adamantium).-Xx}}

True, and for the silver I'd rather only do a thin coating of it over a sturdier element. Diamons though, they may be hard but you can break them easily enough with a sharp quick hit. You're on the right path with the coating part though, use those suckers to cut through concrete.

Sabertooth tried it. And, I still dissagree. People of a high enough "Power Level" could simply obliterate him. Like Thanos. Or, Magneto could rip the adamantium from his very skeleton.
