Samuel didn't know of too many places outside of fast food that they could order from. If they wanted more options they were going to have to go into the city and that required him driving, which he was trying to avoid. He didn't know if Micha remembered their old haunting grounds, but he knew it was close and they were at least familiar with the food. He watched as Micha lit up at the suggestion and offered to get his phone. "Alright, don't get lost." he teased.
Watching as the male left the kitchen, Samuel soon turned his attention to the mess he'd made.Picking up the frying pan, he brought it over towards the trash can and dumped the cold eggs. He set the pan in the sink with the intent to wash it in a moment. Instead, he turned towards the tray of biscuits, gathering them in the foil so they formed one lumpy ball. Taking his ball of foil, he tossed that into the trash as well. Once that done, he moved back to the sink and grabbed the dish soap to start cleaning out the pan.

While Micha was upstairs, Samuel continued to busy himself by cleaning up the kitchen. He stood at the sink scrubbing away the dried egg and rinsing out the over all pan. It wasn't long before he heard Micha join him in the kitchen once more. He glanced towards him as he moved to fix his coffee. When he was finished, he set the pan in the drying rack and dried his hands on a nearby towel. Samuel then padded over to the now vacant coffee machine, pulling out Micha's used k-pod and tossing it in the trash. He proceeded to grab a k-pod for himself and popped it in to the machine. Setting his mug beneath, he selected the size he wanted and then stepped away whilst his coffee brewed. Behind him, Micha was now seated at the island as he heard his question. Moving closer, Samuel peaked over his shoulder to see the menu. "Hmm....I'll take some eggs and hashbrowns, and maybe a short stack." he said, not wanting to be too picky with his options.

Moving closer to Micha, Samuel looked over his shoulder to see the menu. It did not take him very long to decide on a few items. Glancing towards the male he saw him nod in response to his words before following up with another question. "No, I think that should be enough. Besides, we don't really need drinks, there's plenty here." he replied. "Also, are you paying or am I?" Samuel didn't really care if he ended up paying for them. It was only fair since it was his suggestion to begin with. But he wouldn't fight Micha if he wanted to take this one. Another thing he was still getting used to was allowing Micha to pay for things. He didn't need to pick up the tab at every turn.

Indeed, it wasn't very often - if at all - that he allowed Micha to pay for them both. But with their new relationship he was going to have to learn to ease up and try not to spoil him so much. As Samuel questioned about who would pay, he caught the surprised look on the males face. Smirking to himself, he nodded as Micha volunteered. "Alright." he said, stepping away to collect own his coffee. Leaning against the counter, he took a small sip and watched the male finish up their order before having him glance his way. When he spoke again, Samuel shook his head. "Nope, already taken care of. But thank for the offer." He said, smiling towards him. "Is there anything you wanna do while we wait?"

Paying for others in previous relationships had become a bad habit of his. Even though he was aware that Micha didn't always approve, he still insisted. It was something he was trying to hold back on and just allow him to pay for once. After all it wasn't as though Micha was going to be completely destitute after paying for just one meal. Grabbing his coffee from the machine, Samuel continued to surprise the male by informing him that he had cleaned all on his own. He watched as Micha smiled back at him and shrugged in answer to his question. Samuel listened to the few options that were given to him. The idea of a morning swim was nice, however he didn't want to end up taking another shower. "Hmm....it has been awhile since we played a game together. Let's see who's more rusty." he teased. While Samuel didn't mind going upstairs to his music room, they seemed to be spending quite a bit of time up there lately. Hopefully Micha would welcome the change of scenery just as much as he did.

Cleaning the kitchen had not been very hard. Although he appreciated Micha's offer, it was not necessary as could be seen. Samuel listened as he was giving a few options before answering. He smiled as Micha teased him back back and motioned him forward. Taking his coffee, Samuel led the way out of the kitchen and back down the hallway. Together they walked past the dining and living rooms respectfully before coming into the foyer. Samuel crossed the large, open space to a door just around the corner from where they normally came in from the garage. Pulling it open, Samuel flipped the switch at the top of the stairs. The small but warm lights flooded the narrow space. "Mind your step." he cautioned, glancing back at the male.
One by one, Samuel led the way down the L-shaped stairs. When he reached the bottom, he moved to flip another light switch. The room was instantly illuminated and looked almost as it did the last time they were down here. The only differences were the addition of a new console, a few bottles behind the bar were exchanged, and a brand new sectional couch to replace the one that had been there practically all his life. The pool table stood between the bar and the couch just as it did before. Setting his coffee down, Samuel moved towards the wall to grab two cues and a rack.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Motioning Samuel to lead the way, Micha followed after him. They walked through the kitchen and down the hallway. He continued behind Samuel as they passed from the dining room and into the living room. Micha remained close not wanting to get lost. He had only gone to Samuel’s game room once, and that was over a year ago when he first came here. Micha followed Samuel toward a door, which he opened then proceeded to turn the lights on. He listened as Samuel commented on watching his step. Micha nodded, thanking him before he followed after him.
Walking down the steps, Micha was careful to take his time. They soon reached the landing, which was dark, until Samuel turned on more lights. He looked around the room taking it in. Micha could see even after all this time there were differences. He had to wonder what else Samuel had changed in his house. Micha grew curious as he walked through the room, taking in all the differences. He could see a few but nothing big, except the new couch. Micha glanced toward Samuel who went about gathering cues and a rack. He turned his attention back toward the purpose of they were down here. Micha went about gathering the balls from the nets and putting them on the table to help Samuel, so he could rack them.

Samuel smiled as the male thanked him and led him down the basement turned game room. He didn't see the changes in the room as that drastic, but apparently Micha thought differently. When it came to the vast majority of the décor, Samuel rarely bothered. He didn't have the time or energy to make such major changes. But on the few days he had off, he did decide that a new couch was needed as well some new stress relief. Since he wasn't having sex and time alone wasn't helping he turned to some of the latest video games. Surprisingly it made his loneliness a bit more bearable.
He paid no mind while Micha walked about the room. It made him wonder what he thought about the changes made. Instead of asking Samuel went about prepping the table. He laid the sticks down as he gathered all the balls into the rack. Samuel smiled as a few were rolled towards him and added them in to the mix as well. When it was filled a few minutes later, Samuel adjusted the rack so that it was align with the opposite end of the table. "Alright....that ought to do it." he said, carefully removing the rack so the balls formed a perfect triangle. After hanging it back on the wall, Samuel picked up the cues and handed one to Micha. "Would you care to break?" he asked.

He didn't think the changes he'd made in the last year were that great. Sure he drove a different car, added some new stuff to a couple of the rooms, and gave the club an overhaul. But it wasn't that bad, or so he thought. He just needed something different while Micha was away, some kind of project to settle his mind. He was sure Micha went through something similar. Though it didn't seem right to bring it up. He didn't think he wanted to talk anymore about their time apart.
As Samuel finished setting up the table, he removed the rack and hung it back on its place on the wall. He then handed Micha a cue stick, who had been leaning against the table watching him. Samuel smiled as Micha nodded and decided to go first. He stood back, watching as the male moved around the table and made some minor adjustments for his shot. The balls clicked and rolled around the table as Micha made his shots. However none of them made it into any of the pockets. "Nice try." he said in an encouraging tone.
Samuel didn't know how much or how little Micha had played since their last game. He too recalled that game in the pub. It was the night before Micha's attack. But not only that, he recalled it was also the night before Micha first told him that he loved him. As strange and awkward as the situation was, he never forgot it thanks to those two simultaneous events. Moving around the table, Samuel looked over the possibilities that laid before him. Once he decided on his moved, he leaned over the table to line up his cue and struck the white cue ball. The ball rolled forward, colliding with the striped yellow ball, and causing it to move towards the upper corner hole but failed to pocket it.
