As the gang hid, the soldier walked by. The soldier walked into the bushes nearby and exclaimed "a helicopter? HQ please come in" he said. "go ahead" said HQ over the radio "we might have intruders" he said. HQ responded "understood, support units move out" HQ said.

Pen lept into action hearing the exclamation. Firing the gun first where she heard the call, she ran to the location. Changing into a flying kick aimed at the solider.

The soldier yelped and tried to fight off pen but did not have a chance. Unfortunately, reinforcements had already been called and heard the shot being fired.

Falling the solider Pen stood by unconscious body. "Told you I could still fight." She said over her shoulder as she scanned for anything helpful. Spying the radio she bent down and picked it up.
"Great this got a whole lot more complicated," she muttered seemly to the radio.

"There they are over there!" yelled one of the soldiers as the reinforcements began to fire.
Bullets started to tear through the forest toward the gang.

"Oh, for ******** sake!" Luciano shouted, charging at a soldier who seemed to be running in the direction of Pen, Luciano shouted then performed a clothes-line type of move, and then with his gun he shot him in the face. Michelle sprung forward and high kicked a soldier coming in from her left, then kicked him once again until he fell. Luciano walked by Michelle and the fallen soldier and shot him in the face as well.
The two of them had the upper hand for a while until One soldier came at Luciano with a knife and cut his arm. Luciano grunted, then quickly dove for cover; Michelle grabbed Luciano's gun and shot the soldier in the throat, but she was aiming for his forehead. Once the two got behind a large boulder, Michelle patched him up the best she could, then the two went back to helping taking down more of the soldiers.
Once the reinforcements came, Luciano shouted over the gunfire, "Everyone take cover!!!!" Luciano grabbed a couple bodies of the fallen soldiers, he tossed a rifle to Michelle and then the two began returning fire.

Flattening herself to the ground, Pen tried to guard herself from the barrage. The radio hid under her as she tried to get her gun into her good hand.
"Get out of here," she bellowed back to the gang. "I'll catch up!"

Aly ducked low and then pushed herself against a tree. Curses, this is what I wanted to avoid. And without magic, I can't shield. I can however...no I'm sure there will be more pressing times.
She then sighed and reached into her pocket. But before she could launch her tool, she heard Pen's foolish words.
"Right..we're just suppose to leave you hear to face off against a good number of soldiers. Want to bet that number will grow. Don't be foolish, we should run."

"What you think I'm nuts! What makes you think I'm going to stay!" Pen manged to get the gun into the right hand and was firing away. Taking refuge by a large rock she continued her reasoning.
"We move together they move together, stuck in a dead lock." Pen wished she didn't say dead but continued.
"They can't move if they are under fire. So all of you get going!" Reloading she looked over to the rest of the gang. "I can handle myself and meet up with you guys when I lose them."

Sabe and Waffle were lying low behind a fallen tree. "Aly...if we run while they get reinforcements, we're going to be screwed at some point in time and it will not be pretty." Waffle called out.
Soon enough, an active grenade rolled by the pair and Sabe freaked out. He picked it up and threw it back to wherever it came from. An explosion later, and the noise in the forest died down to three soldiers and Pen firing their guns.

"Would you all leave now then!? I can hold them off get moving or we won't get anywhere!" Pen was relieved to see so many soldiers taken out but the sound of incoming reinforcements was still jarring.

Aly was nearly tempted to throw up her hands, but instead she pushed up for the crotch saying "Fine, I'm off. See ya later Pen." She got up just enough to make a mad dash for the next tree and then the next.
If we're running then we're running. If Pen says she can handle i, she can handle it. Focus on getting this blast thing over with, she thought plastering herself against another tree further from the action. "Which way should we head if we're going to get away, but also advance in our mission?"

"Well, whatever works for you Pen." Waffle called out again, fleeing the scene with the others.
Sabe was too scared to move for a while, but soon crawled away. The soldiers were still focusing their attention on Pen, giving him at least a thread to hang on to.
He reached a tree and hid behind it, looking up at the numerous branches. I bet I'll be safe if nobody can see me at the top of the tree. I might actually be able to shoot something too.
Branch by branch, he quietly climbed up the tree. His broken arm was throbbing in pain within the first two branches, and the waterworks were on full blast by the time he got up to a stable section of the tree. Tears were blinding his vision, but he could make out the silhouettes of the soldiers and Pen.

Now slightly pissed off at the Gun fire, Luciano grabbed Pen and hurled him over his shoulder and shouted, "If we're not staying behind, neither are you!!" Michelle chucked a grenade at the enemy soldiers and then as soon as it exploded, she hoped she killed them all.
Luciano lead the group in a different direction but still running towards their destination. When he heard more gun fire, Luciano set Pen down and whacked her forehead ((Think of the V8 commercial >_<)), "Don't do that again!!" Michelle whacked the back of Luciano's head and shouted, "Don't hit a woman, Asshat!" Luciano shot a couple of the soldiers in the face, or chest, as they came at them. Then after getting grazed by one of the flying bullets, he took cover for a little bit behind a fairly large tree. He shouted to Koji, who had been with them the whole time shooting the enemy, "Can you create some sort of illusion to distract them??"

Pen just looked up at Luc with a look mixed with confusion frustration. How come when he decides to stay back everyone must bite their lip and bear it? The rest of the gang understood, why didn't he? A pit in her stomach began to grow as she sat there looking at the group around her. Only one answer she thought that would be it.
Pen got from the ground and then with a very serious look reloaded her gun. She then took back her position at the rear.
