Nearing Yawgmoth, she did what she thought she would never do; include him in her shield, protecting him from whatever was going on. Resting on hand on his left arm, and the other close to his right shoulder, the highest she could reach, she looked at him with determination. "This will be .. uncomfortable. If you are well enough to walk once we arrive, I will accommodate your needs so you may rest."

For one who had not traveled this way before, it would feel most uncomfortable. The first sensation was that ones eyes had been pressed to the back of their heads, then their head shrink in to their body, the rest following, as if squeezed through a small tube of sorts. A moment later they reappeared, the opposite feeling of their departure was felt before the world came swirling back in to view. She knew it would be nigh impossible to support his weight on her own, but just in case he were to feel ill again, she moved to his side, trying to act as a crutch to move him the final few steps to her front door.

The figure watched with a great interest, seeing all that the two below him could see. With each new wound more power leaked from Yawgmoth, wich fed it. Also the anger and fright that was coming from the two was an enjoyable meal... untill they disappeared.

After a long day, Ziven sought solitude. Moving quietly though the forest, she did not have a destination. Though she did not expect it, Mask soon showed up and presented himself with loud purring. "Why hello there, fancy meeting you here." she said kindly to the feline. Bending over, she scratched behind his ears before resuming her walk. Finding a spot that was clear enough for her to sit comfortably, she looked at Mask for approval, who meowed loudly. Gently resting herself on the ground, she lay on her back, folding her hands behind her head, and gazed up at the sky.

Wandering in to the evening air, she searched for a pool of water somewhere away from town. Walking for nearly an hour, she finally found a spot with a suitable amount of water to use. Once she found a suitable place on the ground, Mask jumped off her shoulders and curled in to a ball just under a nearby tree, watching her and purring. Saying a few choice words in the Ancient Language, the water ripped and seemed to come to life. Upon closer inspection, one would see that its surface looked more like a mirror, but it was not reflecting the trees and sky above nor was it showing Ziven or Mask. Instead it showed a man and a dragon, soaring through the skies. Watching with a gentile expression, she concentrated on breathing, and maintaining composure.

The ground a great distance away began to violently tremble under the tremendous weight of something moving. A massive dust cloud formed far far away in the tree line behind Ziven. Easily clouding the night sky with a light brown shade from the earth being tilled up. The trembling upon the ground would finally reach Ziven just after the sound of it did. Shaking causing the water ripple from the tremors. A roar sounded off in the distance and above the tree line about three football field lengths behind Ziven and Mask rose the almighty Titus. His huge yellow orbs of eyes gleaming through the large earth colored cloud of dust he had created by moving as he was. If one were to look closely they could barely see the leg of an animal sticking from his huge jaw. He was eating something that he quickly swallowed the rest of before the upper half his huge frame sunk down on the forest floor with a crash cracking the trees he landed on. Causing the ground to shake even more violently. The rumbling continued until about twenty feet before Ziven the breathing mountain of a dreadnought stopped and peered around. It had picked something up, something that held mana within. "What....creature....goes..in these woods...tonight?" a strong, deep, resounding voice called out slowly from the huge mouth at the front end of the creature. The two yellow eyes, each able to fit six or seven men Yawgmoth's size peered around for sightings of the creature it had picked up.

The ground shook, disturbing her viewing as the water ripple dmore and more violently as the ground shook more. Mask meowed loudly, demanding that she let him back on to her shoulders. Clearing the water of the vision she was holding on its surface, she stood, scooping Mask up in her arms, who quickly wrapped himself around the back part of her neck, wanting a good view of what was happening. Though she was not entire sure until the massive creature came closer, she slowly began to smile. Instinctively she showed Mask a few calming images, letting the protective feline know that the giant creature was a friend. Once Titus came very close, she transported herself and Mask to a tree top, to get a better view of the giant. Ziven bowed respectfully, perched gracefully on a small branch of a pine tree, Mask blinked lazily and resumed purring. "Good evening, Mr Titus. To what do I owe the honor?"

The dreadnought shifted his gaze and fixated one of his massive eyes upon the treetop where Ziven now was. "Ahh it was....only you." Titus responded with a slow blink. "I was...out..for a..midnight...snack you...could say. I...tend to eat...like a whale...ten times...my own body weight...a day..as you can imagine...that is..a great deal..of nutrition..and most certainly...not easily able..to be acquired..within the boundaries..of sunlight.." he finished explaining. "What..are you doing...alone out here...tonight?" Titus coughed and shifted his eyes view closer. "Well...I correct myself..you are not..alone. The feline...that rests on you...is with you. Felines are a....great source of warning..to danger...taking one with you...at night..around here..is quite wise"

Inhaling deeply, she tried not to take his first comment personally, as it seemed almost insulting to be referred to as 'only you'. With a soft smile, she nodded her head at his mention of finding something to eat in the evening, assumably to avoid being seen. "Indeed, Mask is an excellent companion. And if I dare say, he enjoys my company as well. Tonight I was ... visiting my master in a way." she said in a strong voice, though her longing to be with her master was clear. She lowered her head slightly, which she knew could possibly bother him like last time, but it was different this time as it was to let her cheek meet with Mask's cheek also, gently nuzzling against each other. It truly was like this cat could hear her mind as she were able to hear his at times. With a small sigh and a smile, she returned her attention to her very large guest.

Titus exhaled a wave of hot air ran over the nearby forest from the large mechanoid's breath. "Still....unsure..of yourself...I see" Titus commented noting that she had lowered her head. He would not tell her twice and instead would let her wallow in her own self doubt for the time. He was not out to lecture tonight, but to eat, which he had done "Who is your...master...I honestly hope...Yawgmoth has not..laid such a claim upon you...but I doubt that is so...I do not sense Yawgmoth about...he is how you say...like me. Hard to miss" Titus said, taking another breath he continued "Explain to me tiny creature...about this..master of yours...and why you seem to hang..your head..at his mention"

She could not help but laugh at the suggestion of calling Yawgmoth master. Sharply she inhaled and exhaled before replying. "Though my history is long, I will try to be brief. When I was quite young, I was left at the door of my master. There was no sign of my family having left me there, no note or message sent with an explanation. Though my master did not wish to take on a student, they made an exception fo rme as I caught their interest. They have never explained what it was, only that they did not regret it for a single moment since then. My master taught me how to do everything, common things like speaking, reading, writing and manners as well as the more extraordinary things such as magic, other languages and history of other magic peoples. Part of our training ..." she paused for a moment, again taking in a deep breath, this was something very important to her. "My apologies for seeming dramatic, I do not speak of this very often, it is .. difficult for me to speak of it. We shared our minds. My master is two that are one. When I began speaking to them with my mind also, I grew so accustomed to having their thoughts in mine all the time that when I left ... it was as if a large part of me was also gone. I miss them terribly because they are part of who I am. It was crippling at first, as if I had lost a limb. I have continued to move forward, slowly ... I found that I could continue, despite feeling so empty with only my thoughts echoing through my mind." finishing, she bobbed her head again, hoping she had not bored him to tears. Gently she raised a hand to Mask's head and scritched around the edges of his mask, but was careful not to disturb it.

The huge machine closed his large yellow eyes and just took in her words. Long history? He almost snickered. She was not old like he was, nor as old as Yawgmoth. Her history was a skip in time compared to theirs. But he was not one to degrade or mock one for their youth against the universes. At the conclusion of her speech Titus' wide yellow eyes opened again. "I see.." the mechanoid said solemnly. "I too...share a...similar bond with my brethren. We..phyrexians are all...linked together..our thoughts...as one..our minds...as one..even our beings..as one sometimes...the worst punishment...on phyrexia..aside from death..is banishment. It does not...mean..one is banished from the..planet..just that...ones spinal..implant..is turned...offline so...one cannot be part of the..link we all share...most tend to..commit suicide...or run away to...another world...rather than stay...disconnected from their..fellow phyrexians. But answer...me this..tiny creature...while I have..bonded with millions..of my brothers and sisters..you have bound to only one being...that makes yours...what you had stronger..I can imagine..this must have hurt a great deal...to sever it...but my question is...did you love this person? There is no...word for love...in my language..but the concept remains...I have never known love so I cannot...begin to imagine..however...losing a bond with my brothers..would kill a part of me...if you did love this person...than I admire....your courage...for continuing without them.. I do not..pretend to understand...the difficulties of such..concepts as...love..and family. It is...a trait that only...you fleshy things...invest in." Titus concluded.

"My master is a Dragon Rider. Both he, a human, and she, a dragon, were joined because of this bond. Telling me the history of Dragon riders, I know that if one were to die, the other likely would also because of what they shared or lose their mind and die soon after anyway because of the loss. Not being a rider myself ... we hoped I could leave and survive." she paused, thinking of how different things were now compared to then.

"Honestly, I am not sure about love. I care for them so much I hurt inside, aching for their company again. It sometimes feels like it is enough to drive me to madness. Then I pick up a book or find someone to talk to and move forward. I know that those you live with, care for and are taken care of by make up families, other than by blood. But .. If that aching is what love is, then yes. I love them more deeply ... than anything else ... in this world." she paused for a moment and when she spoke again, her words were much more quiet, but still audible.

"Damn it." though she did not realize it, tears had started streaming along her cheeks as she spoke, she realized this only when the moisture met under her chin. Both embarrassed and furious with herself, she turned away from Titus for a moment, taking a few deep breaths and drying her face. Mask stopped purring but instead started piddy pawing her shoulder and meowed softly. She turned back to Titus a moment later, again under control of herself and bowed to her large guest. "My apologies, Mr Titus."

The mammoth creature seemed to smile. His large yellow orbs lightening up a notch giving a soft comforting glow about them. "There is no...apology..necessary tiny creature. Apologizing...for how you feel...is wrong..it is..within your rights....as a living..sentient creature..to feel certain ways...about certain things...do not be ashamed of it." He finished as his massive scythe like arms dug into the dirt pulling his girth up a little more. His face was more level with her and mask now. "The pain...of loss...affects everyone..even those...who seem invincible to emotions..like love." Titus' grin turned slightly into a smirk. "I remember....when Crow vanished...Yawgmoth was devastated. He spent...every resource...he had..in this place..in phyrexia..throughout the entire..empire to find her...the loss of something close...causes pain. I now have..no doubt..you loved them. There is no..other explanation." Titus tilted his frame a little and let out another breath that caused hot air to roll over the winds. "I know..not the cure...for the pain..of loss..other than...to find what you are...looking for..and reclaim what...you lost. I have no...doubt..that if Yawgmoth..had not found Crow...it would have been..his end. His mind...would have driven him to madness...so if the pain you feel...is this great..that speaking of them brings you to tears...Seek them. Seek something...that keeps them close to you...or your mind..may too fall..into the depressing madness...of loneliness."

"It is uncomfortable for me ... to lose control of my emotions like that. When it happens, it lasts for days and it makes me unhappy. Especially now without my master. Though .. I was never meant to be part of their life, not like that. Which is why I wish to find someone to share with, like they have. The only trouble is that I do not have a partner. Seeing how different people can be, I am losing hope that I will find someone who would want such a thing. In this place, everyone is so concerned with proving who is strongest and most capable of winning, teamwork becomes a foreign concept, a theory at best." pausing she felt another wave of emotions threatening to overcome her control.

Holding her arm up at what normally would be considered a weird angle, Mask expertly moved further on to her arm, then on to her forearm as she moved more and they worked together so he could rest comfortably on her chest, holding the feline with one arm, petting him with the other. It did not help her enough and she buried her face against his back, just wanting to hold him close. Mask lovingly nudged his cheek against her and purred softly.
"Why must there always be such distance between myself and everyone else? Why did my family choose to abandon me? Why is the only solution, the only way of living for me to be alone? Even just one person to share this with .. Is that so much to ask?" blue eyes raised enough to show her expression was pleading and apologetic. She did not expect any answers, she was just grateful to have someone who understood and would listen.

Titus took another large inhale of air before the titanic creature began speaking again "There is an old saying...if you look for...gold in a soup bowl...you will look..for the rest of your life...but look for gold...in a gold mine..and you find..just what you...are looking for. It means...do not give up...simply because...you cannot acquire something..as readily as others...perhaps..you are looking in the wrong...place" The dreadnought said. "I do not...advise...this place...as somewhere to meet....someone to be with....a few lucky ones...have found soul mates...only three of which..I know. The rest...have either broken up...died..or simply left. Yawgmoth and..Crow match..because they are both inherently evil. They think alike...and share the same...feelings with each other...Angel and Zero do the same...as they are both inherently good natured...and then there's the oddity..Aliator..and his wife. I have..never met his wife...but I have met Aliator...who claims..that she is the only one..in all the universe for him...Aliator is evil aligned...from the sounds of things..his wife..has the potential..to go either way whenever..she desires..making their relationship..a mystery to me..but my point is...some have found true love here...some have not..if it does not find you here...then do not continue to look for it...in this proverbial soup bowl"
