Fujiwaras' ears stood staright up as he listened to her every word. "What is it?" he asked quietly. Too many children had died around him in his life, anything that had to do with children he could afford to be nothing but serious. "What has transpired?" his voice had a hint of urgency to it.

"I dunno... she was bleeding and her and Tutsumi were upset..." She said, rubbing the back of her neck, then sighed. She felt uncomfortable now.

Fujiwara nodded, Tutsumi was with her, if they needed his help they would ask for it. He let out a sigh to calm himself. "Well, truthfully I would probably make things worse." he gave a slight chuckle at the put-down before shrugging. "Shall I bring us some tea as we await them? We could catch up."

Fenris stared at him as he put himself down. "Fujiwara... stop saying that... stop it..." She bit her lip, then walked right past him and out of the infirmary. She kept telling him to stop saying that, yet he continued to do so...

As she walked past him her cursed himself silently. He hadnt explained things properly he had realized. Turning after her he said simply. "Fen, Wait. I didnt so mean to put myself as I was simply trying to speak the truth. My trip has left me...broken. My chakra is erratic, hard to control..." He trailed off as he hung his head low. Perhaps he had been wrong in coming back so soon, so far from his goal.

Fenris stopped, listening to him as he spoke. She sighed, bringing one of her hands up to cradle her head. "I'll forgive you if you stop putting yourself down... AND... if you make me tea?" She looked back at him, smiling a bit.

He simply nodded. "I am sure I can manage to do that." he said with all seriousness as he lead the way to the kitchen, where his tea would be about perfect. He pointed to the cup and gave a simple nod as he pulled out another bag and poured himself a new cup. "So what have I missed?" he asked simply.

Fenris bit her lip as she followed Fujiwara. He had changed so much... she didn't like it. He always seemed so kind before, but now everything was so serious. "Nothing... not a lot has happened, Fuji." She thanked him for the tea before sitting down, picking it up to sip it.
Yes, things had happened. Mainly to her. But she was not about to go ahead and make him worry. He was already dealing with enough.

Fujiwara, his back at the moment facing her, grimaced as he dealt with his tea. She was lieing. He shrugged half-heartedly. It was not his buisness, he would not pry. With a pretty blank expression he turned back to her, his tea in hand, and nodded. "So how are things around here? Any new students? Nekojiri still being Nekojiri?" He gave a slight smile at that thought.

"Good... Plenty, and... when has he not been?" She stared down at her tea feeling very uncomfortable. She was not used to this. This was not the Fuji she knew...

He gave a chuckle at the last part and set his tea on the table before sitting in a chair opposite of Fen. Sensing that something was wrong he frowned. "Everything okay Fen?"

Fenris looked up at him, then down at her tea, mumbling something about him being too serious. She pressed the edge of the cup against her lips, biting down on it softly.

Fujiwaras ears flickered as the localized the sound and caught some of her words. He frowned and nodded. "I am afraid it is how I am now. I could either be the old lovable Fujiwara who did next to nothing and was often in the way or I could be the serious Fujiwara who, once he learns to control his chakra once more, can actually start to help again." his voice was harsh and slightly angry, and he caught it after the words left his mouth. Looking away sharply, he felt bad, not meaning to be mean.

"I like the old Fujiwara better..." She bit her lip, putting her cup down before getting to her feet. "Thank you, Fujiwara..."
She started walking off to wonder the halls. It was the truth. She missed the old Fujiwara...

Fujiwara sighed, nodded, and drained his tea. When she was away for awhile he frowned, growling slightly he threw his cup at the wall, which then broke into several pieces. This was not how he had wished to come home. If anything he had become more jaded than when he had left. He stood, looking to the mess, and then exited the dojo walking towards his cabin, his eyes were orange, as if they were on fire.
