Scytheress nodded and took a step back to let them conduct the rest of their affairs in relative privacy. She opened her book and began flipping through the old worn pages idly, waiting patiently to get her bracers from the man who seemed to be oh so pupular around campus.

Listening to the man on the ground drew her in closer. This stone could give her power. If she wanted it bad enough. Her mind stared to race around trying to find a way to get that stone. She needed to know more about it, there where too many variables in this situation. She let out a small sigh, too bad that stone would have be fun to get. Her hair fell around her face and she tilted her head to the side to get a better view from the top of the tree she was in.

Shien reached inside his coat, and pulled out a small pen. He jotted down his name, and tossed the pen back into his coat. The handed the paper back to Solumone and said "There you go..Enjoy." he smirked, and carefully picked up the Ice Heart with one hand using the cloth. He stared at it for a moment, then said "Again, thank you."

He decided to just get it over with, now. Carefully, he bent down and set the gem, cloth and all, on the stone ground infront of him. He got down on his knees infront of it, and unsheathed his blade. He lifted it above the gem, and began to..speak? It wasn't word known to anyone but him, it seemed. It seemed to ring off the blade's metal, then off the gem itself. The blade began to shimmer, looking like a liquid for a moment.

He slammed the blade down. Instead of the blade breaking, or the gem cracking, the katana blade seemed to pass through the gem, leaving not a scratch upon it. At first, nothing happend, all was quiet, except for Shien's chanting. Then he stopped, as suddenly as he started. The gem seemed to begin to lose it's color, while the blade began to turn a light blue color, almost as if the sword as draining the gem of it's powers...

The katana solidified instantly, the ground beneath Shien and the others getting covered in a thin sheen of ice, before Shien drew the now changed blade from the earth. He picked up the now dull gem, not even a hint of cold left upon it..The katana, however, began to emit an icy chill like that of a blizzard falling upon the world.

Shien swung the katana sharply, and if you looked close enough, you could see snowflakes fly from the back of the blade as it traveled. Shien smiled, before placing the blade gently into the sheath. The cold stopped suddenly, the warmth returning to the air. Shien tossed the now worthless gem into the air and caught it again. He turned to Solumone and bowed, before placing the gem into his pocket.

He began to turn, and smirked to himself. "..Snowfault.." he said slowly, before carefully walking across the stone to a nearby bench, leaving bewildered gazes and a patch of thick ice and snowflakes in his wake..

Shien blinked a time or two, then shrugged and carefully pulled Snowfault out of it's sheath. Once again, the arctic feeling of cold began to flow through the air when Snowfault was drawn. He held it out to her, blade first, his hand gently on the handle. "Any reason your so curious?" he chuckled. The metal part of the blade was a light blue, and seemed icy in it's very look. When touched, it felt very cold. Not as cold as the gem that produced it, but still freezing cold.

He twisted the blade and gave a small slice, letting the snowflakes once again fly from the blade and settle on the ground where they began to melt slowly. "So, who might you be?" he asked.

Shien smirked, and said "A curious mind, eh? Ignoring the obvious 'Curiousity killed the cat' comment.." he chuckled, and gently tapped her head with the flat of the blade. He let the blade slide back into the sheath, and made over to the bench, where he sat down and leaned back. He closed his eyes for a moment, then sighed and opened them slowly.

"Incase your curious, I'm Shien. Shien Kitzu." he said, then noted quite quickly had hadn't had a cigarette in the last ten minutes, a situation he quickly fixed with nothing more then three flicks of his wrist. He took a deep breath of smoke in, and sighed. He kept tossing the lighter into the air and catching it, then grew bored as he placed it in his pocket. "So, Raven, anything else I can help you with?" he chuckled a bit, before leaning back every so slightly in the bench.

Shien sighed deeply, still sitting on the overturned bench even though his feet no longer touched ground. He pushed himself up slowly, pulling another cigarette out of his coat and pulling his lighter to light it. He quietly placed the lighter back into his pocket, before standing up straight infront of 'Raven'.

Oddly enough, he didn't even seem fazed, nor angry...Nothing. He just stared at her for a moment, then said "Oh. Your serious." and turning around and stepping over the bench, which he quickly pushed back up into it's proper position. He sighed and said "No, no. I don't think I'll just let you take this. After all, I can't get another." he patted Snowfault's sheath gently, then said "No, I belive you'll have to take this from me."

He didn't even bother to say anything as he slowly grabbed Snowfault's handle, and draw it slowly. It gleamed in the pale light, and Shien simply waited for the Thief to make her move, not even bothering to get into a defensive stance. The chill Snowfault let loose was somehow..darker. An evil chill, a painful sensation that seemed to reach deep into your bones and chill them to the marrow.

Shien chuckled slightly, then said "I belive the hard way will be required, my dear." as he readied Snowfault. He held the blade with one hand, pointed downward towards the earth in an obvious combat stance. The other hand was currently at his mouth, pulling the cigarette from his lips and flicking it onto the ground.

"I'd say 'ladies first', but I don't feel that fits the situation."

Shien slowly began to spin Snowfault between two fingers, then sighed and said "Good luck." before grabbing the blade with both hands. He drew back and like a burst of lightning had charge infront of her, aiming a fiercer thrust to her stomace, followed closly by a upward slice, then a diaganol slice upward to her shoulder and finally a single flipping-kick, aiming for her face.
