Dari laughed when he was pulled and immediately snuggled up and nuzzled into the crook of Cody's neck. oh, how he'd missed him. "I'm sorry all that happened, but I'm glad to be here now."

Cody ran his hand over Dari's hair. He remembered when he'd first invited Dari to coffee and how the man had told him he'd hated having hair. "I'm so glad you're back."

Dari smiled and cupped Cody's cheek just to be touching him.
"I love you, Cody." He leaned in for another kiss.

Cody kissed him again, smiling softly once it broke. "I love you," he said. He kissed him again, allowing the kiss to linger. He'd missed this. Just spending time with his love.

Transformation always sort of sucked, but after the breaking and reforming of bones and a quick, rather large snack Toby was on his way to the apartments. Luckily the doorways were built for larger creatures, but it still took a bit of maneuvering to get down the hall to Kevin's door, where he knocked.

Kevin opened the door. He was wearing a t-shirt abd a set of pajama bottoms. He stared for a moment, eyes almost boogling "Toby?" he asked. It must've been the full moon, then! "Hey, you're huge!"

Toby immediately began growling when the door opened, but when Kevin recognized him he stopped and just wagged his tail slowly. The full moon indeed! He nodded and grabbed Kevin's face in his hand-paw. Also very large, yes.

Kevin was definitely impressed. He smiled, not at all concerned about the presence of a werewolf. Toby wasn't dangerous! ...Well. Neither was he, and he had been.
He took Toby's paw-hand with both of his own. "Awesome."

Toby might have asked if he could come in or if Kevin wanted to do anything, but he lacked the vocal capacity. He tugged his hand gently from Kevin's and took out his board.
"Want to hang out? Need to go back some time. OK for while."

Kevin read the message on the board without much trouble. "Okay!" he agreed. "What do you want to do? Hey, want to come in?" he took a step back so Toby could. There wasn't much they could do inside the apartment, though... "Do you want to play tennis?"

Truth be told, Toby had never tried to play tennis in this form. He wasn't sure how good he'd be. He shrugged and scribbled down: I can try.

Toby wiped his board off with a furry arm and wrote:

Tennis just hadn't been one of those things yet. Maia didn't like it much and nobody else was particularly awake to help him kill several hours before he turned back into himself.

Kevin nodded. Something to kill time. "I bet I can beat you this time!" He declared. He hadn't practiced at all. "You can't talk at all?" he asked. "I couldn't in my other form either."

Toby shook his head and avoided the urge to smile. It never came out quite right in this form. He gestured for Kevin to follow and headed back down out of the apartments and toward the tennis court. He still had to enter doorways oddly the further they got the from the apartments.
