@Styk: .o. umm... I don't remember any time in particular doing that. I tend to both listen to Lady Gaga and drink orange juice quite often, so I'm sure the two coincide many times. 8D; if it helps any, I'm listening to Shakira and drinking pink lemonade...? *still totally feels like he's missing something here*
|D and cosplaying is fun for me, lol.... it may be uncomfortable, hot, and has probably caused me sever nerve damage**, but getting my picture taken because someone likes my costume makes it worth it. Mostly because I usually make my own costumes, so it's a total honor that someone thinks it's picture-worthy. ...and partially because I'm vain and love the attention...
**regarding the nerve damage: >.>;; The shoes I got for my Ash Crimson cosplay were from a thrift store, so they didn't fit me exactly right, but they worked for the costume [after I painted them silver anyway]... and by the end of my debut of that costume, I had lost all feeling in my big toe. ....and have yet to regain it <.<;;
8D; but it's an awesome costume~
edit: I just realized I never uploaded full pictures of that costume to my DA.. o.o; did I ever show you guys? [a better shot just in case]

O_O Oh Geezus! lol!! If I'm going to Cosplay, I'd want to be totally comfortable! XD I don't like experiencing pain while attempting to catch someone's eye, but at the same time I get what you're saying! XD

xD; lol, well I'm glad I could entertain you with my Lady Gaga listening, orange juice drinking ways~
.o. and yeah.. not all cosplays are awful to wear. My casual Axel outfit is really comfortable... but the Organization XIII coat is super hot, because it's Vinyl, and vynil doesn't breathe. That added to the fact that I wear it in the middle of summer in Southern California makes it ridiculously hot, lol.
The Ash costume is actually really comfortable now that the pants have belt loops. Before we added those, I would always have to hold them up or safety pin them to my shirt, lol. It's just the shoes that bother me, and even then it's only after prolonged periods of wear.
8D omg that reminds me, have I shared what my newest cosplay attempt is going to be?

@Max Galactica: xD; right now I'm trying to figure out where the hell I would find his shoes! Those things are monstrous. I don't even know if they make platform heels like that for men... or if I were to find a woman's shoe, I don't think they would come in a large enough size...
I already have the pattern for the jacket, and I have some acrylic paint, so I can add all the card details. The fuchsia vinyl should be easy to find in LA, and I can make my own white gloves if need be. I've made plenty of cosplay pants, so those won't be an issue either. That wig is going to be a b***h though... xD; I don't even know where to begin with styling that monster.

This reminds me, I think you'd be proud of the jacket I totally tricked out.
Max Galactica: Ummmmm, I've seen boots like those at Hot Topic, but in Black. And I've seen boots like those on ********. . . Aside from that, I don't know wherelse you'd see boots like those.
The wig? Um, I know a lot of people that are into hair; My girlfriend's friend (who is one of my best friends now lol) Catman, and my sister Raven are both, like, super PROFESSIONALS! lol! Raven has been at this stuff for YEARS- She's one of my inspirations for some of my hair styles, and how I dye it. When you get to the wig, I could ask them for pointers!
Judging from the looks of it, though,. . . you're going to need a s**t load of hairspray. lol

@Boots: .o. I didn't even see a section for shoes at ********.... I'm browsing through Hot Topic now. If all else fails, I can always paint the shoes like I did for Ash, lol. It's just finding the right style that's gonna be hard.
@Wig: Oh, believe me, I have tons of hairspray. The spikes in that Axel wig took me hours. It's just the bouffant up front coupled with the long wavy hair in the back and the straight pointy bangs... seems a tad daunting. o.o" I might have to buy a curly wig, then use a flattening iron for the bangs/bouffant. I'm just no entirely sure how to make a bouffant, considering that didn't work out so well with my Ash wig.. and this one is about twice as tall.

The Wig: A style like that? Ummmmmmm. . . I'll ask Catman! He's really, really good with hair- As is my sister, but she doesn't have internet so I can't show her the pic- and I think he might know how to style hair like that- If Runway hair stylists can find a way to do it, then it's not impossible for Catman. lol

Cosplay: you gotta cosplay at a convention man, if its good enough, EVERYBODY will wanna take a picture with you. you be all "Fame achieved!"
Team rocket: Totally had that idea too, but I was met with opposition by my group of friends, mostly by my friend justin because he was all "Um, no, I am gonna be gary oak, smell ya later!" then he walked out of his own apartment.
Cosplay: I have kakashi nearly done and anbu kakshi following close second. I was so lazy this year with cosplays sweatdrop
I was suposed to be vash the stampede but that fell out after I remembered I was poor as hell.
Some others I was thinking about: Leon S. Kennedy, team rocket grunt, male pkmn trainer from ruby, Link, I have a Scott Spyre cosplay that I might bring and I might not bring, idk

@ Styk: Aww, thanks. xD Um, first game is Thursday at my school. I'm not too excited honestly. I like playing and all, but I'm not ready for this summer to end at all. I play middle front, since I'm so tall.

Styk: I was not saying it was required. I just know that if I went to a Con without a costume, I would be all jelly of the cosplays.
It's my anniversary with mandi today! I am so excited to have our night together after she gets off of work!
but on a more somber note, my good friends might get a separation in their marriage. not fun stuff.
