Skizzors "Only" getting up to 80 tomorrow.. Is anyone else still not wearing shorts? Me. I never wear shorts...even if it exceeds 100. Unless I'm going to the beach...or am at home.

Well, you're on the SUN side.. but I guess it still counts. o_o I hate short shorts. And it seems nothing else exists. gonk

They started ******** with my French civilization sometime around 700 BC because a few of their cities defected to the French empire due to superior cultural advancements... And I guess their leaders just couldn't handle it. I tried just beating em into submission (which usually works with the English), but after 700 years of them breaking treaties, I had to initiate the pogrom. As usual, the Iriquois and the Aztecs fell in line with my policies and declined ******** with me in the least. England and Egypt survived only in the form of single capitol cities kept surounded by my civilization... as a sick sort of zoo exhibit. Civilization 3, Dot. It is one of the coolest and most addictive games ever made. And it is educational as all hell. If I remember, vaguely, just much, much better. I'll put it to you this way... Civ 2 came out in 91... it has consistently sold for every year that it has been out, and while most people who play it may put it on the shelf for a bit, Zel can attest to the mighty power of the Civ games to keep people coming back. Here's a snippet from an article I found. "Civilization is not merely Sid Meier's magnum opus, it's also the quintessential world exploration/conquest game. Sid somehow manages to mix a lot of elements - economics, military actions, the nuts and bolts of government, long-range planning, and diplomacy - and combine them into a satisfying, addictive whole that captures the flow of human innovation and cultural expansion."

Skizzors "Only" getting up to 80 tomorrow.. Is anyone else still not wearing shorts? It was supposed to be sunny and up to the mid-80s today, but it never got too bad. I never wear shorts outside, regardless of how hot it gets. I hate shorts.

A game! ...I was about to say... for ancestors who wrote Kama sutra...at least I think we're not goody goodies.I was in an eight way game of Civ3 as France against a random round including India, England, Egypt, Iriquois, Aztecs, Chinese, and Persia. Er... that summary I gave of me destroying the Indians involved said elephant riders falling before units of my Musketeers and Cavalry (mounted riflemen).
