~Sanctus Espiritus... Suddenly the room was filled with the sound of someone cackling and Tommy was picked up by what seemed to be nothing and just floated out into the middle of the room, high above the ground. Maddy jumped to her feet. "Huh?" Suddenly, something grabbed her by the hair and she was hauled off the edge of the upper level of the library and plummeted to the bottom, landing in a pile of books; a fall that would've killed a normal person. "Owwwww... Damn poltergeists!" She emerged from the book pile, a book laying open on her head. She was covered in paper cuts. In the meantime, Brian got slapped in the face with a book and all the books from one of the shelves decided to randomly fall on top of Richy. Maddy sighed. "I should've listened when Kayla was describing how to get rid of these..." She mumbled, suddenly crying out as she had a few scales plucked from her wings.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Tommy sighed as he remained dangling from the second story in the air. "I knew something like this would happen..." He muttered, not struggling to get free. Instead, he tossed a pokeball on to the second floor landing, revealing a Gible. "Uh... Dragon Rage?" The shot missed Tommy and the invisible floater by a few inches.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy was immediately bothered by the fact that her books were suffering from this. She chanted a few demon words and everyone was encased in a white barrier that protected them from the invisible creatures that were assailing them. "Please refrain from destroying my books!! Now if someone could find a Ghostbuster manual that's in English than that would be great!" She said, trying to keep her focus. Barriers took a lot of energy to create, and she wasn't in the mood to translate demon. Books were thrown at the barriers, hitting off them and just sliding down. However, the people inside the barriers were allowed to reach outside the barrier and pull stuff in through for their convenience.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Watching from a bookshelf nearby, an old foe laughs at the group.

"Maddy! I'm still being held by this... thing! Remember?" Tommy called down to the Demon Overlord, still held high above the ground. "This doesn't help any. Return, Gible..." The Dragon type land shark was returned to it's pokeball, and Tommy went limp, just to save energy.

Richy pulled away from the books, not wanting to anger Maddy anymore. He laughed a bit seeing the shreds of many books on the floor. Then looked up and saw someone who's name he forgot.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Brian's Shadow Ball attack just happened to hit one of the poltergeists. It let out a little screech and became visible, along with every other poltergeist in the room. It seemed it was just a bunch of Haunters and Ghastlys. Maddy sighed. "Do they even count as poltergeists?!" She exclaimed, losing focus. The barriers collapsed as a result. She instantly noticed this but didn't quite have the strength to put them back up. "DAMMIT!!" Books began to fly from the shelves, bombarding all of them. Tommy was thrown into a nearby book pile.... Richy let out Corphish who then used Protect and then let out Happiny who used Psychic on the book to stop them in their tracks and protect Richy and the group.

Tommy landed in the book pile, and moaned very horribly. "Ahhhow." Tommy moaned, and managed to pull out his dynamic duo, Seedot and Lotad. "Uh, how about... Ah. Sunny Day, Seedot! Lotad, Solar Beam!" The room got way brighter, and then an intense energy beam shot into a Haunter, knocking it into the wall, in where it stayed, knocked out. "Way better. Both of you, keep using Solarbeam!" And so it went, both firing Solarbeams at whatever Gastly or Haunter that they could see.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy sighed and took out a Masteball. "It seems our only way to clear away this problem is to take 'em out the old fashioned way. Everyone fight 2 of these Ghosts. Catch one if you like, I don't really care." She threw the Masterball into the fray and it burst open to reveal Giratina. The Ghost Dragon let out a roar began to search for its two unlucky victims.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Tommy didn't really have to try very hard to take out a second ghost type, as the double Solarbeam easily overpowered a runt-ish Gastly. But he wanted more fights, and returned his two Hoenn pokemon. He wanted to use someone else now... "Hmm... Tommy fingered through his pokeballs that he had left. "Slakoth, you're on!" But, before Tommy could call out his sloth, he was sucked into a SIV portal. "Curse you, you stupid SIV!" And then he was gone.
