Fenris sat on the roof, watching the grounds carefully. She was hoping that man from a few days ago would show back up... Not only that, but she wanted to keep an eye out for those goons from quite a few nights ago.
After awhile, the woman noticed a shadow move across the grounds. Blinking, she immediately went into action. She planted her hands on the roof and pushed hard, her feet rising in the air and back arching as she threw herself from the roof. Landing with a soft thud on the snowy ground. The woman slowly stood up, facing the newcomer.
Her pushed her raven hair from her face, showing a small blue flame on her fore head. Rainbow, pitless eyes staring straight at the upcoming shadow.

The drow elf stopped, unimpressed. A hand dropped to a sword, just in case. His black eyes grabbed a hold of the female in front of him.
"Greetings. Who might you be?" The elf's voice came out smoothly, in an accent that would be called British in the world.

"Sapphira, Yami sensei." She responds calmly, crossing her arms. She smiled to him, tilting her head to the side. "I am sorry to ask, but would you please tell me your business here?"

"Business? My business as of now seems to be walking, dear." The drow elf replied. "If you'd like my name, I am known as Sribryn."
The drow looked at the woman who now smiled at him. He reached up and dropped his hood, his snow white hair falling down over his angular face. The drow's obsidian skin made the contrast from hair to
"I'm a drow elf, and I hope to find a place where I am welcome."

Fenris grinned as she saw the snow white hair and black skin. She remembered the days when she really was psychotic. Those were fun... "You are very welcome here, young drow." With that, she waved him to follow her inside as she headed up the porch steps and into the main room. "Come, come! I must ask you a few simple questions in you are to enroll as a student! Tea?"

Not wanting to seem ingrateful, he would accept her offer for tea, falling into step behind the female as she walked. All tenseness betweem the two vanished, the drow eyed her curiously.
She was attractive by human standards, though anything non-drow was still worthless.
"So...what exactly does the word...yami mean? My command of the human language is not great, you must understand."

( WORTHLESS!? You b*****d... She is in skin tight clothing, danke. >3> )
"Darkness, shadows... whichever word you'd like to use." She said with a smile. As a demonstration, she held her hand out, shadows jumping up from corners and such to form an orb in her hand which quickly became an unnaturally black kendo sword; One for practicing sword fighting. She handed it to him as she stopped. If he were to take it from her, he would notice that the black construct was real. You could put a good grip on it and it would not break very easily. Not only that, but it was very well balanced and light.
"It's fun... but sadly due to a system they created before I began teaching here, the art of shadows is a special class. You have to take a different class for at least a month before you're qualified to get in."

OoC: Yes worthless. Drow use the word iblith to mean non-drow. Iblith are the lowest of the low.
The drow simply eyed the shadow creation. He had seen magic do some amazing things in the underdark. He saw denizens of the lower planes summoned, at which time they destroyed anything they could. Still, he hated magic.
"I care little for magic. I've killed many mages in my day, and the trick has always been the same: be faster than their magic words. If not, then stay back and dodge."
The drow made no jest. His words were true, because if you ran a blade through the mouth of a sorcerer mid spell, he was dead. No amount of his magic would help that.
Still, he didn't deny it's uses. His younger brother became a wizard, and he was a great asset to the House Cladd'ana.
"But it has it's effectiveness," he quickly reconciled, not wanting to offend her.

Fenris blinked, staring at him for a long moment. "Magic...? I guess you could call thins magic..." She shook her hand, the construct disappearing. "I will not force it on you though, I suppose." She sighed and walked into the kitchen; straight ahead.
"May I ask then, why did you come to this academy?" She asked while putting hot water on the stove, grabbing two things of tea and two mugs.

"See, my definition of ninja, which would be the true meaning of it, and yours is very different. As an assassin, I am highly qualified. Not even the most trained eyes could spot me in the shadows. At least, not until I began to cut them into pieces. Here, you leap from tree to tree making hand signals to unleash magic. My element is not magical. It is purely physical. I can throw a knife a hundred yards and hit a gold coin, I can fight a crowd of drow nobles at once with two blades. My element is one of silent killing. I come only to hone this, though I am as fine a warrior as any here."
The drow spoke not in a condescending manner, but one of sincerity. He didn't scold these people for their fighting styles because it got the job done. But a real ninja wouldn't be in the open long enough to make a hand sign.
Your opponent couldn't harm you if they didn't know you were there.

"I do not do silly things like that..." She said with a smile. "That would be everyone else. My classes are much different though. Most of what I use are simple things for either defense, transportation, weapons, and stalking. Any of the larger 'spells' as you call them, use at most, one word of command."

The drow smirked, hoping to give the girl a small glance of his deadly art with his next words.
"Like I said: be faster than their words."
Sribryn chuckled aloud as memories of the over-confident wizards that had stood in his way in the House wars of his city came rushing back. Spellcasters bled as good as anyone else. Even better, on most occasions.
Sribryn's body had been toned to fighting perfection. His reflexes perfect and his speed faster than a man could blink.

"Mmmh..." The teapot whistled. She poured the hot water into the mugs, handing him one before sitting down at the table, waiting for the crushed tea leaves to soak and bleed their flavor to mix with the water.
"Though... there are a number of people here that can help with reflexes and such. There is a training room in this building with dummies and such that you can practice on as well."

"Many of us do more than just elementals, sir. I personally used to teach physical aspects more than just the elements."
Tutsumi had walked into the area, his eyes were slightly cold towards the man. Even though no offense was meant, it was taken. People always used to come in here and think they were doing stupid little things like just working on elements and 'spells'.

"I will certainly look into it, then."
The elf looked into the tea, blowing on it lightly to cool off the boiling water.
"The only non-physical art I have never been able to compete against in the Underdark was psionics." He half-shuddered at the thought.
"Illithids, at least. Drow psionicists are not quite as effective as a mind-flayer. I doubt that there will be any psionicists here." His last sentence being more of a question than anything.
