Gwyllion whooped with absolute delight.
This had quickly become the one thing he actually enjoyed about the Earth realm. It was like discovering a new world....
Even if he was flying through the air and straight for a tree.
"@$*#ing C#%T!!!" he cursed loudly, "F@$*!!!"
Well, he always had been curious about what flying felt like, to say the very least.

"Gwyllion..." Pixel said softly, bringing her bike to a stop and taking off her helmet.

"You're the one that's mooning over Kitaria, aren't you?" she asked, her eyes narrowing even further. "Take a little advice from me...drop it. You'll onyl end up hurt or in chains."

When Arashi sensed Garren's pressence behind her, the woman's hand immediately went to the hilt of her katana.
The blade was drawn ever so slightly, ready to attack, but the miko found herself stopped and pinned to a large ceder tree.
She knew not what to say, not how to act.
There was a reason her name was Arashi and, just as the storms she was named for, so too were her moods.
The woman was angry at Garren for torturing a soul, an essence of life in it's purest and simplest form... one that her family should be protecting.
But at the same time...
Arashi found herself unable to draw her blade any further, both physically and mentally.
But that hardly prepared her for the kiss which came not moments later.
A thousand thoughts flooded her mind and she wondered, for the first time, what Garren was truly about.
"What...." Arashi whispered in confusion once the kiss had ended. "What was that for?"

Po-ar nodded, but he looked back at Kazuhiko. "Stay with Ashuri-chan and Ainsu-kun and the otheres."
Without a second's hesitation... he followed after Kitaria.

Fir's action sent a shiver down Aled's spine. "I never said that now... did I?" the man whispered with a smirk.

"I will take care of Herne," Kitaria told Po-ar as they ran, "Iron allergy or not, I have been trained to cope with such things. Besides, it is my duty to correct the fall of the Hunter. You focus on your wife's soul. No doubt she will reach out to you."
------

"I saw that," Fir teased, blowing lightly in the man's ear. His hands gently worked their way down and across Aled's torso, gently massaging and working the man's flesh.

Gwyllion shook his head. "Trust me, it's a lot easier said than done. People in our family don't seem to fall in love easily... It strikes us when we least expect it, and nearly maintains a strangle-hold."
He rubbed his shoulders, grimacing a bit. "What was that for, anyhow?" he glared, taking off the helmet. "I mean, you DO want me to fight with you right??"

Kazuhiko nodded, sitting down, still confused.
He wasn't sure what to make of all of this, not sure in the slightest.
Kaguyo sat down beside him, allowing Ainsu to take care of Ishara now. "Well! I have to say, all of us were very, very worried you wouldn't make it... We'll have to have a party for you once this is all over."
"A party?" the teen asked, tilting his head.
"You'll like it." Kaguyo promised with a smile.

"Of course," Pixel said coolly, replacing her helmet, "But for Fir's sake, not yours and certainly not hers. The Fianna and I have bad blood, that's all I'm gonna say. After this, I'm going back home and do what I do best. If you were smart, you'd stay the hell away from that monster woman and that's all the advice I got for you. Now get on."

"And what will I do when her soul reaches out?" Po-ar asked, completely unfamiliar with how spirits opperated.

~ ~ ~

Aled laughed, "You saw nothing but what I wanted you to see..." the Tarnb-jin Ou replied before claiming Fir's mouth in a kiss once more.

~ ~ ~

Ainsu, in the meantime, knocked Ishara unconscious. "b*****d..." the Tarnb-jin playwright said angrily before moving to Kaguyo's side, leaving Ishara in Vejita's care.
Ashuri had moved over there as well. "Don't worry, Kazu-kun." the woman said with a smile. "Your otosan and okasan will be just fine."
"Love will triumph over all." Ainsu replied with a very small smile.

Fir Darrig was more than happy to return the favour and kiss Aled back fiercly, his hands still expertly with the man's flesh. Aled was kissing back...playing the game right back to Fir...perfect. Phase One was all but complete.
------

"Herne will keep Morrigan's soul in a physical vessal," Kitaria told him. "Find out where that is first. I'll look too. His hounds wil be about, too. Try and keep them off my back. The breathe iron dust, which shouldn't trouble you. Once we figure out where Herne is hiding her, we can attack together to take her back.

Garren sighed softly. "Why do you think, woman? You've seen how I act. I hardly glance at anyone, man or woman, let alone connect like this to someone... I suppose I want to prove to you that I won't betray you." he answered. "I want you to trust me... Instead of always walking out in a huff, talk! You need to TELL me what makes you angry, instead of expecting me to read your mind..." he shook his head. "It isn't fair. I wish I could show you...."

Gwyllion sighed. "Bad blood is between you and her, not I." he answered abruptly. "Throw me off the bike again woman, and I'll let you both duke it out for yourselves." he muttered.
Well, that little-boy-crush had certainly worn off fast. "At least she's a damn fine hostess. You could use a little more manners---if this is for Fir's sake, and Fir and I are friends, mind you, then you better at least make sure I can feckin fight later..."
He was angry, yes.

Kazuhiko nodded. "I...It's definitely not my fault, right?"
"Not at all." Avaon explained with a smile. "Your mother would be alive right now regardless... It's just that right now, someone's preventing her from coming back."
The boy nodded, thinking. "So...wait....who...who ARE all of you, exactly?"
"Aunt." Eara called up. "Mother's sister."
"Uncle, same as Eara." Avaon replied. "Gwyllion left on the motorcycle with..Pizzy.... Pixy... Pizzel... Eh, I don't know."
"Pixel." Eara smiled. "Gwyllion's your uncle like Avaon also, as is Vincent."
Kazuhiko blinked, wide-eyed. "And is that it?"
"Not at all." Avaon chuckled softly. "That's only your mother's side. Your father has many relatives as well."
"But Grandpa killed Mom." he tried to understand.
"Unfortunately, yes. He was trying to hurt you too." Avaon added. "He's not a good person, make sure you stay away from him."
"Alright..." Kazuhiko nodded. "I will."

And Kitaria was right. All the while, Morrigan was continuing to call out to Po-ar, although her voice was weak.
He was her one hope. The teleporter was one of her best hopes for survival now.
**Po-ar.... Po-ar, why aren't you answering?? Can't you hear me?** her voice pleaded softly, pained. **Goddess, help me... Don't leave me... Don't leave me...** she begged, sobbing.
Something about how she felt however wasn't quite in the right state of mind. Something was different...
It was the difference between looking into a mirror that was broken, and one that was not.

"Got it." Po-ar replied. "The dogs shouldn't be a problem, unless Herne still has then equipped against ki attacks."

~ ~ ~

Aled's eyes snapped open and he looked at Fir for a long moment after breaking the kiss.
"You are hiding something..." the Ou spoke plainly, having sensed the deciet in Fir's thoughts.

~ ~ ~

"I did tell you." Arashi replied softly, her hand still on her katana. "You torture them for the pleasure of it, Garren-san. Yes she may have done the same... but no soul deserves what I heard... what I saw. Let alone that boy with the neko!"

"I will." Garren answered her, kneeling and bowing his head to show he truly meant it. "And I am sorry... Look. I want to show you something." he sighed softly. "This is going to take some energy, but it's the only way you'll understand what a tyrant she is."
He rose to his feet again, gently taking her head in his hands, placing his third eye against hers.

The images came flooding in an instant... The singular raging woman, having summoned down the Goddess simply to ravage them all, bloodlusting on all who got in her way, man, woman or child.
But suddenly, the magick of the Nagaroi was taken from them---suddenly, the Nagaroi began to sleep.
All save his family, Naga being the youngest then.
Suddenly, iron spikes began to pierce through their limbs, pinning most of them to the trees. "WHERE IS HE?!!!" she demanded fiercely, "TELL ME! I swear, to EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU, I WON'T STOP UNTIL YOU SAY!"
"He's gone! He's nothing but dust!" one of his brothers spoke up.
For that, the woman literally ripped out his tongue. Her rage was unstoppable.
She literally bathed in their blood, bathed in all save one...
Garren's sight had drifted to a small, frightened Naga, wide-eyed as he witnessed his entire family being killed off. He had insisted for him to run; he seemed frozen for a time.
But Morrigan only smirked. "He shall be the sole survivor of this day." she growled low. "So the others will know what happens when you invoke my wrath."
And suddenly, the crowd of sleeping people were caught aflame, some were covered by ice; another yet was flooded to drown, and the rest inflicted with an unspeakably agonizing plague.

Now, it could have helped Morrigan if it had been mentioned this was shortly after Ea's death. With the loss of her lover, she had lost everything dear to her, even her sanity.
The goddess had taken over where she was too weak with grief, but in this context, it truly showed the other side of the war.

"Do you understand?" he asked quietly, sighed deeply. "Naga... I want to bring him back." he insisted. "She had to understand the sort of suffering she caused... What she experienced... was nothing..."
Tears were filling his eyes, angry and grief-stricken. "I can never forgive her for that, Arashi. Do you understand?"

"Wakarimasu." Arashi replied, her eyes hard and unwavering. "Demo... who was the one she spoke of? The one whom had become dust?"
No, the miko would not let this go... not at all.
Torture was something she would not abide.
Death, yes.
Slaughter, yes.
Victory, yes.
But not torture.
"And it still does not excuse the use of Thom-san. Could he not be set free, as is his will? Or has he done something to harm you as well?"

"Ea, a priest." Garren sighed. "I'm going to have to show you more than that to explain it. Before Morrigan, a druid-priest named Ea was the one who initiated war against us. If Morrigan was brutal, Ea made her look mouse-like.... The fact we even killed him was a miracle, in truth." he shook his head. "Literally, a miracle. We still don't know who did it, or how it happened even, but it happened during the war with us.... Most likely my father, before he was taken." he mused.
She could see literally everything as he had, the confused chaos of battle, the red-haired man in white with fire in his eyes, arms upraised... The sudden shock as he ignited, and became nothing more than a pillar of ash.
Even the softest breeze began his images' crumpling, and the shocked, wide-eyed rejoicing of the people.
Going back even further showed Ea was truthfully less merciful than even Morrigan. He regularly sent horrible plagues into the Nagaroi villages, infecting the drinking water, blighting the crops, the cattle...
"Do you know what it's like to starve to death, to be slowly poisoned over months without dying?" he asked her sadly, sighing deep and grim.
This war had truly made him tired, and he simply wanted to end it once and for all.
Children, women... it didn't matter. The plagues struck without prejudice.
What was worse, however, was the fact that these towns were all defenseless, their magick having been taken from them first, their religious leaders executed into a pillar of ash.

Centuries of war suddenly became Arashi's to hold, to contemplate... It was as if she and not Garren had lived through these instances, seen the horror of war...
Suddenly everything made sense. It was obvious why the wars between the two clans had become so fierce. "Thom was the one who saved our people." he sighed softly. "We can let him go, naturally, but to do so would be to put all of us in immediate danger. He is literally the last hope we have... and naturally, I was too rough with him, but as petty and pointless this is to you.... She has stolen everything from me, Arashi, literally everything, even my sanity at one point."
Plagues were people bled from every orifice on their body, literally crying blood as their lungs filled sanguine...
Feeling every cell in your body, trying to destroy eachother, constant pain...
"I was one of the few who actually lived through one of those attacks." he added quietly. "If... if she were to take our magick from us again... Everything I have fought so hard for would be gone. Not even her, but the Morrigu in general.... All we've wanted is freedom and justice. She's killed hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions of people, Arashi... She is no pure soul by any means. Her hands are stained more than my own, even. I admit, I treated Thom wrong, and I don't intend to let my temper get the best of me... But in return for keeping us safe, we promised we would revive his sister, once we found the Cauldron---or Cauldron shards---and her body."
But he sighed, taking a step backwards. "For someone upholding good, I don't understand how you can condone the suffering of someone so ridiculously evil."

"He might have," Kitaria warned, "He figured out to equip his hounds against elemental attacks, which disturbs me."
------

"Oh?" Fir asked, with a raised eyebrow, "I thought we already decided we'd have to guess each other's professions?"

He might not be as old as everyone around him, but he was one hell of an actor.
------

"I have no interest in Kitaria's boy-toy any more than the b***h herself," Pixel answered coldly. "Get on the bike, Gwyllion, and lets get this done."
