He said nothing for a moment then spoke completely calmly, "You were very defensive were alright in that department. You were not aggresive enough." He stood and looked at his apprentice in the eyes. He placed his hand on his apprentices shoulder, "You will improve," his hand dropped down and he sunk into the ground.

With a new sense of duty and confidence, Khazid proudly stood up despite the soreness in his aching and fatigued muscles and soldiered on, with a large grin on his face from his master's parting words. With the knowledge that his master could still hear him he thought, Thank you master, and was off to his cozy covel to sleep for the night. . .

Walking silently through the outdoors, Ziven headed for the heart of forest, away from civilization. With all that had transpired recently, it was time for her to spend some time with nature, reacquainting herself with the sound and feeling of solitude in nature.
Finding a suitable spot, she afforded herself the luxury of something comfortable to sit on - a cushion-like mat. Moving the mat close to a tree, she sat, leaning her back against the tree and took the non-traditional position she found herself most comfortable in. Drawing her legs up toward her chest, she folded her arms over the tops of her knees and rested her head on her arms.
Though untraditional, this position was perfect for her to relax easily. Inhaling deeply she allowed her mind to open to her surroundings. Sensing the more prominent minds first of the animals nearby, she soon also felt the presence of the insects surrounding her, then of the life of living things that were immobile, the plants, trees and finally the smallest and least prominent of all, the organisms that floated freely through the air and soil.
Here she intended to remain for as long as she desired, allowing her mind to observe her surroundings without use of her eyes, to listen without using her ears. Watching others in life in this way, no matter what their size may be, was one of the most relaxing and satisfying indulgences of her abilities. In this state, she did not feel alone as she often did, it was possible to quiet the flood of thoughts in her mind and find peace.

* A pair of eyes watched Ziven as she satt on the ground, so nice and peaceful. Such a shame he would be there to spoil it all. However for the time being Ali remained where he was, waiting like a snake to launch out at it's prey. Only this "pray" would not substain any harm...atleast nothing serious.*

Though everything seemed to be the same as always, though in a new location, she realized there were a number of differences. This did not disturb her or stop her from continuing. There seemed to be no reason for it, but she felt as if she were being watched. Sensing no presence that was not busied by some task or another, she pushed that feeling aside and continued with her meditation.

* Ali slowly placed his hands onto the branch he was sitting on, leening his upper body abit forwards and feeling the six extra appendages slowly emerge out from his back. Swaying from side to side before they all flew down towards Ziven with a purpose to entangle her, one of them would even dart into her mouth incase she tried to scream while they did so or when they pulled her up to Ali.*

The solitude was abruptly ended as she felt a faint presence moving at an unreal speed. Opening her eyes, she saw the tentacles that she had seen but one time before come rocketing toward her, wrapping around her. This would have been acceptable to her but one tried to go in to her mouth. With a small pop, she disappeared from where she stood, reappearing in the branches of the tree above her, making sure she were in a spot where the tentacles could not easily reach. Since her mind was still open, she followed the tentacles with her eyes while wiping her mouth on her sleeve and tracing its life force in the same direction, over and up in one of the other trees. Irritated that her solitude had been disrupted, she then closed her mind and looked in the direction where the tentacles were coming from. "Ali?"

* Ali arched an eyebrow as the tentacles returned slowly back inside him, releasing the branch aferwards and merely allowing him to come into "sight". His laughter holding a cheerful tone as it eluded out from between his lips just as his eyes peered over the shades placed infront of them.*I take it you didn't like my way to get your attention?

"It does not make my "top ten" list of favorites for getting my attention, but effective none the less." she said, masking her irritation and feeling more alert. With another small pop she returned to the ground, next to the mat. Looking up at Ali, she was rather certain that there was a reason for he to be there. Pondering this for a moment, she looked down again and tapped the mat with the toe of her shoe, which disappeared. "What brings you to the deep woods? It is curious that I could not detect your presence."

*Ali smiled as he rose up to his feet, then simply leaping off and falling down towards Ziven. Upon impact with the ground, his right foot and left knee created their small craters as expected. Ali's left hand picking up the sun glasses that fell off on the impact and putting them back on as he stood up straight again, brushing off some of the dirt on his nice pants.* It's not that difficult, you just put an immense focus on blocking the pressence you expel. But you seemed to locate Critters small pressence, well done.

Ziven raised an eyebrow, observing the force with which he hit the ground. It crossed her mind that if she tried doing what he did, she would have broken something and was thankful that she could apparate. With a grin, she found it mildly amusing that he was surprised that she could detect the tentacles, which she discovered he called Critter. "When I put my mind to it, there is much that I can sense. Are you saying that you call your tentacles Critter? Are they not part of your person?"

Both yes and no, she's a parasitic creature. I hold a link to her mind and thus i can command her tentacles as if they were my own, her share is a place to live and food daily. Critter, why not come up and great the lady?* A small shriek could be heard coming up from Ali's throath, followed by squishy sounds. Slowly Ali bendt over and held his palms out under his face, starting to gag to speed up her process. After a few moments Critter plopped down into Ali's hands, purring like a cat and stroking itself against the skin. Eventualy Critters eyes caught sight of Ziven, inwhich she instantly slittered back and towards Ali, seeking protection. Afterall, Critter was nothing more then a a three year old baby...erh squid like creature.* First time she's seen the real world with her own eyes for almost a year, usualy she watches through mine.*

Hearing Critter surprised her greatly. tilting her head she tried to sort out what he was really saying. A moment later it seemed as if he were going to be sick. She extended her hand as if to comfort him, but realized this was intentional as he placed his hands in front of his mouth to catch something. Retracting her hand, she instead covered her mouth with both hands to stifle a squeak of surprise when Critter plopped in to Ali's hands. When she realized Critter was afraid of her, she lowered her hands and smiled gently. Opening her mind to Critter, she sent her a few comforting image with her mind, showing her she meant no harm. "She is smaller than I expected. That is, in comparison to length of her appendages when used through you."

* The images caused Critter to squirm violently in Ali's arms, screaming as she did so. A pair of small tendril bursted out through her skin and straight in between Ali's eyeballs, searching for the brain. After awhile, she calmed herself down and began to nuzzle Ali hands once more as he lifted her up onto his left shoulder. Ali probably looked like some kind of monster right now, thick llines of slime hanging down from his mouth and now with strings going from Critter and in around both of the eyeballs.* I'm pretty unsure about how she gets them aswell but i guess it's just evolution, or mutation.* The slime hanging down from Ali's mouth flew as he spoke, Ali didn't mind but for the moment he lacked the manners to remove it.*

Ziven placed one hand over her lips, feeling entertained and repulsed at their relationship. In a way it was kind of cute, just unfortunate that it was so ... gross. Clearing her throat, she continued softly, not wanting to disturb Critter further. "I wonder, how did you come upon Critter then if you do not know much about her? How ever would you know she would ... merge with you?"
