~Sanctus Espiritus... Raine looked at Ginji. "The Demon King was Maddy's Father. And I don't think this is a demon at all... I think it's something that's been in Maddy since before the demons appeared...""It's time to die!!" Courtney took her blade and thrust it right through Maddy's heart. "Good-bye, little sister..." She reached down and went to rip the amulet from Maddy's neck.The demon parts on the Maddy in the cage vanished, so now the human Maddy sat there. She flinched, as if suddenly waking from a daydream. "Huh? Where am I?" She suddenly clutched her head, as if she was in a great amount of pain.The shadow leaped down from the top of the cage. "She is forever a prisoner in her own mind..." Purple flames swirled around the cage, closing in on it. "Her mind shall always be troubled by Shadows..."... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Memo jumped up and towards the cage to try and guard it. While in the air he released his kunai, like a shower of steel from the heavens above on top of the Demon.
"Maddy.."
The boy stood in front of the cage and stood ready to guard it with his life. He moved his head to look at her with a smile and tears.
"I'll do my best to protect you.."
The Aqua Corporal prepared himself for the attack and quickly thought of a way to deflect it from Maddy.

I stop chanting, since it didn't seem to work anyway.
"Wait, shadows?..." a dawning realization crosses my face. "Ginji, the 'Purest Snow' from the prophesy! You have to open Maddy's heart!"

"... What?" Tommy questioned as he landed back on the floor, watching as the shadows closed around the cage. "No!" Tommy cried. "Muddy Water! Now!"
"You got it!" A muddy wall of water arose from nowhere to try and douse the flames swirling around the cage.

As the flames closed in Memo heard Thard and he shot his gaze to Ginji.
"Ginji, please hurry!"
The boy still stood to guard to guard Maddy.
"Please...everyone be safe...."
He braced himself and stood his ground as tears fell from his face.

"We need to make Maddy whole again." Ginji told himself "Then maybe she'll come back to her senses." he mused as he expanded the Ultraball around his neck, releasing Darkrai. The dark Pokemon roared as they faced their competition. "Pory, you've done well, now rest." he smiled as the Pokemon returned to him.
"One thing has not changed, we stop you here." Ginji said with resolve as he raised his hand to the ceiling. "1000 Arrows of Light." he said as Light energy released from his palm in the form on spears. Darkrai roared as tendrils of Darkness attacked the figure in the form of Shadow End.

As the attack struck, it dawned on the blonde teen. Ginji rushed to the cage and touched the hard bars of it with his hands. He passed seamlessly through this time and found himself in the middle of the cage without anyone else. Inside, it was like a separate world, free from everything. Peaceful. "Figures I'd be able to pass through the cage." he scoffed as he approached Maddy.
"Thanks Thard." Ginji muttered as he bent down onto the floor of the cage and deeply kissed the sleeping Maddy.

Christian smiled. Then he thought, Weird Sleeping Beauty moment. He then looked to see if this would help Maddy

Tommy recalled Marshtomp and leapt away from the cage. He planted his knee into the ground, and stayed knealing through the attack. "Wow..." Tommy mused, hopeful for a good outcome to come.

Memo silently gazed at Ginji and Maddy inside the now peaceful cage. His tears seemed to stop as he gently fell to his knees.
"Thank you..."
The boy whispered to himself as he grabbed his chest and smiled.
