Poliwag comes out of his pokeball and uses a Bubblebeam to help take out the fire coming at his trainer. "Thank you Poliwag." I pick him up and continue to keep the front of my body faced toward the figure. "I don't understand..."

Tommy leapt towards a mirror, calling out his Bannette. Together, they melted through the mirror to avoid the fire, then came back out. "We don't even wanna fight! Help us get OUT of your mind. Then, we won't BE here!" Tommy cried urgently, recalling his ghost type. Wait...
Courtney back winged, avoiding all the attacks. "Ugh, might as well use one of the spells Atreyu taught me during our training sessions!"
"Hmm... wasn't Atreyu the... Ghost type Demon! Maybe we can use our ghosts to get out! Or maybe it's a trick of our minds as well as Maddy's!" Tommy threw out his Banette once more.

~Sanctus Espiritus... The figure looked at them. "I didn't take over this mind only to have it invaded by outsiders! It's mine now! DIE!" A wave of purple flame rushed towards them, rising from the floor before her.Courtney threw the enlarged ball of flame down at Maddy, laughing.Maddy leaped out of the way of the attack, but she found she was getting tired very quickly. Her whole body was beginning to get weak.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

"Stop trying to reason with it!" I cry out and Poliwag shoots off a Hydro Pump to dull down the flames at least a little so I could try and dodge, and somehow, I manage.

"Take over!? YOURS!!?"
Memo saw the wave of purple flame racing towards him and the group and he instantly back handspringed away several times at blinding speed.
"How dare you!?"
After he was a safe distance away he reached into his pouch to pull out some shuriken.
"THIS IS MADDY'S!!!"
The boy throws all the shuriken at the Demon in a way that they all bounced of each other creating a sort of wall of blades that moved with an erratic pattern that was aimed straight at her. Not far behind was Memo coming in with a close range attack.

"PORY!" Ginji called out as the corrupt programing error appeared and shot a Signal Beam at the figure, it's Download raising its special attack. The teen flashed a card as he became attuned to it, changing to the Water type to gain more power from the Rain Dance.
"TORRENT!" Ginji said as he laid his hand on the ground and water started shooting up to counter the figure's flames.

Christian said," Aqua Tail, Cannon! Then, Water Pulse once more!" The water attacks first hit the flames, then the figure who made them

"Anybody know how to Exorcism or something?" Tommy asked as he ducked, rolled, jumped, dropped, you name it. Tommy threw out Marhstomp. "Hydro Pump!" "You got it, boss." A horrendous stream of water sped towards the Demon Maddy person. "And then some." Tommy rushed after Memo, readying a punch that would knock most senseless: Dynamic Punch.

~Sanctus Espiritus... The figure was blasted backwards by the combined attacks. She was headed right into a mirror, but instead of hitting and shattering it, she passed through it and disappeared. Her voice filled the room, "As long as I have a living body to feed off I will live on!" The door they were trying to get through unlocked and swung open. The next room was like the other, a seemingly endless abyss of black. But in the middle of it was a cage. In the cage, chained to the floor was..."Maddy!!" Raine ran from the group and to the cage that imprisoned her trainer. She gazed in at her trainer, but something seemed strange. The Maddy that sat in the cage was like the missing half of the Maddy that was in Pallet. This one had the right wing, right horn, and a pointed tail! "Maddy?" Raine frowned as her trainer did not even acknowledge her.Maddy suddenly fell to her knees. She was suddenly in a lot of pain and felt very weak.Courtney flew down and stood before her sister. She gently placed a hand on Maddy's face, forcing her sister to look up at her. "Hmm... At first I thought that it was the amulet draining your power... but it seems you're very sick anyways... Might as well end your suffering."... Redeem us from our solemn hour~
