@ Everyone: I don't know if you guys knew this, but tonight was "National Night Out"- I don't know if this goes on in any other state, but it's where your community basically has a block party. Well, my block had LOADS of food, drinks, and everyone from my street was there! And we had the same band that played last year (their name is Saving Starz; Very good band, and I love their covers of different songs- It blows that they've never played A Perfect Circle before at these things)! Well, I got to see some of my new neighbours, and got re-acquainted with some of my old neighbours.
Holy s**t, it was a blast! The guys were awesome, and the girl that was there (Just like last year) was awesome. I had an awesome time at this thing!

On the medieval RP topic: I'm just hoping it'll be the 'vanilla/semihistoric' variety (preferably without magic, although Fire Emblem or Diablo-esque fantasy settings are fine too) and not the 'World of Warcraft/every fantasy RPG ever' kind.

@ Styk: I've been keeping myself entertained with an open-source sci-fi rendition of Diablo called FreeDroidRPG. After I get Steam and The Orange Box working on my computer again, I might reinstall some other games I was playing.

recent games: I have been playing alot of Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas recently, mandi has been way into fable 3.

Baltimore is a beautiful city, though public schools I'm told are scary and I was warned against some areas by my very hyperactive uncle, the city was wonderful. My Uncle other than being a Computer dork was very cool to hang out with and saids we would love to have us again
The convention had 17,000 people most in costume. The people who stand out were a group of assassins from Assassin's Creed, a Gurren Laggen group of guys who sang "We got Ice Cold Water for Just a Dollar, Ice Ice Cold Cold" they were funny and man they pulled of those Costumes well ( 4laugh ) but since me and my friends were pulled over every five minutes I don't remember a whole lot of costumes that stood out for me. We dressed up as N, Black and White from Pokemon on friday (I was N) Shinra, Celty and Dotachin from Durarara on Sat (I was Shinra and it was my favorite Cosplay) and we were Outlaw Star on Sunday. We won free stuff mostly cause there was a Durarara Panel and Gathering on Saturday; I won a poster and my friends won key chains. (I won the poster by jumping up and down wildly to answer a question at the panel and they answered questions at the gathering) We were sooo hyped up that we watched episodes of Durarara that I do recommend since its a wonderful show.
We came home a little sad though. Responsibility was waiting for us and we only have school to look forward too.
Really right now the whole trip is a blur of happiness, tension (a grumpy Pen is not a fun Pen) empty tummys and pure excitement. So I hope that is enough details.

LOL, thats so cool, your stories are getting me psyched up for NDK in september.
Edit: I am interested in this contest, though I have never been the most active member of CHAOS, hopefuly tektek will open and I may remedy that
