"Alright. I'll be back in a sec," Ellie said, then left to the kitchen. A few moments later, she came back with the Diet Coke, and like Pence wanted, with no ice. She placed down on the table in front of Pence. "There ya go. So, do you know what you're going to order?"

Ellie was about to say something but she stopped herself. ... He doesn't know I'm a vampire.... So did I keep that a secret from him? she thought to herself. Unless I became a vampire after I disappeared? Either way, I don't think I should tell him... She then answered him, "I'm... not sure. Other than my name, I really don't know much about myself."

"Yeah..." Ellie said. The hand-held gadget then buzzed and she got up. "I'll be right back," she said. She quickly went into the kitchen and came right back out with the steak. "Here ya go," she said as she set it down in front of Pence.
