Merriara XxHouranxX Merriara XxHouranxX Merriara ...am I the only who's obsessed with getting all A's?? @houran--no, she just wants to know what you all think and that I should get some help from people at the local college. however, I'm only 13...I don't want a tutor from DSU. Nope, I freaked out when I got an 84% in gym. Everything else was 89% or above. xD If you don't wanna get tutored by them, you could try asking one of your peers...? @Myria - So you, yourself, hid it? D< um, I really hate being tutored since I feel ashamed that I can't understand math...and besides, Omar got straight hundreds on pretty much all his math stuff....and Anna ( that's my name too! ^^) has a dad who teaches math. both of them are unapproachable since I don't like either of them. That's nice to say. xD Well that's a dilemma, isn't it? I'm assuming that if you're looking for a tutor with your mom, then your mother wasn't taught that specific math, but no other relative has either? If not, I can't think of any other suggestions...Btw, B+ isn't something to be ashamed of (I know it feels horrible if your obsessed with good marks, but it's actually a good grade.) but I'm competitive...and I feel like I'm not good enough..like an inferiority complex maybe? I don't like to go to my parents for problems..I like to be independent. my brother is pretty good at math, but he's not a very good teacher. (abusive, makes fun of me and I'll cry) my sis is also unapproachable--she's 7 years older than me and I feel like she's a stranger You're only 13 (that sounds odd coming from a 14-year old...) it's alright to go to your parents if you have problems. I know it's embarassing sometimes and you really don't want to, but it's usually worth it. 3nodding

OoThe FourteethOo Merriara OoThe FourteethOo Merriara OoThe FourteethOo Merriara ...am I the only who's obsessed with getting all A's?? @houran--no, she just wants to know what you all think and that I should get some help from people at the local college. however, I'm only 13...I don't want a tutor from DSU. I used to be obsessed, then I lost interest in that sort of stuff... Myria: Thank you!^__^ well, I'm currently obsessed, any advice? advice in math or in life...? math, but in life would be fine too. Alright... hmm...I found that studying works best when your mind is fully rested. Try putting the formulas you probably have to memorize into songs, that usually works. And though the other kids might not have the greatest grades, they might understand something that you don't. Also stressing out too much before a test doesn't help, relax and study calmly. finding something funny to relate to a problem also helps... I don't really study...I pay attention in class. I'm not so good with memorizing formulas and stuff, but I'll try it. ^^ ( I don't stress much, it's just when my parents press the issue is when I get frustrated and stressed. it may be because I learn a new thing everyday and I don't have time to learn it and she moves on to a new lesson. )
