"Well I definitely need all the help I can get. I've been busy with the new exotics shipped in from Africa and of course I've been looking over the plans for the undeveloped land. With the race course finished, I was thinking about funding and founding a nature preserve with the undeveloped land left over."

Amy giggled at herself for not thinking about ordering in the first place. "Oh... duh. See how tired I am?"
She laughed and draped herself across Karrie's lap, wrapping her arms loosely around his waist and rested her head on his shoulder.
"I'll have stir fried chicken and veggies. And a surprise, eh? That's not a half bad idea, especially since I had to cancel. You made the plans first, and since I had to cancel, I'll reschedule and surprise you."
She looked up at him and grinned. But then, the grin faded to a look of confusion.
"Karrie, when did animals start to become allowed here in MW again without a leash? That was what the whole mess with Thistle was about. Before I came in here, I saw Gin, Kits' cat, out there. No one was freaking out about that. Though, that starts a whole different argument. Kits is sick. I don't know why she forced herself to come here. In the past if she was sick, she never would have forced herself to come here. I don't get it. I... I know this sounds silly, but I feel like I'm losing my best friend..."
She sighed and shook her head. "We should order."

I... think it depends on how the pet acts. Kits never puts her pets on a leash, but they obey her really well. As for her being sick, she might feel better. Kits has always been really stubborn and tends to do what she wants.
