Ack! WII!? Ack! Sorry, not what I would have chosen to spend my money on. But it's the best if you aren't going to be doing that much gaming. If you catch the bug you'll be wanting something more powerful. Be careful with that thing, it hurts people and breaks stuff. Don't believe me?

But as a big time gamer I do have some suggestions for games you should get, though there really aren't many on that system that are worth your money. Seriously, I'm not trying to be an a**, just truthful. If you pick the right ones though it's not that bad because there are TONS of games. I'm only going to tell you games that you MUST play, and why, if you want to get a handle on what games are really about. A lot of the stuff for the Wii is gimmicky stuff that people who don't care about the games, or people like you who want to play them, at all.
THE list:
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Why: The game is part of one of the most loved RPG franchises of all time(quite literally), and is widely considered as one of the best, if not the best, of that series. It'll give you a good idea of the type of content you could expect out of a normal, non motion obsessed games. It is by far the best game on that platform.
Super Mario Galaxy
Why: Mario is always fun and this game is a unique presentation of the Mario universe and one of the best games on the Wii.
New Super Mario Bros Wii
Why: It's Mario yo.
So yeah, those are games you should definitely play. Sorry if this makes you mad, I'm just being a gamer. lol.
