I'll tell you a way to dodge it, if you dont want to do it this way, i'll change it. ^.^
But anyway, All you really have to do is jump in the air, lean backwards, and fall down. This means you jumped over the slash at the feet, Then leaned back, dodging both the diagonal slice and your on the ground, so you dodge the impalement. Then you can roll out and have a go with your attack ^.^
