Immolatus ginseku, it is physically impossible for any character to have infinite endurance unless he/she was a god. A character can only breathe in so much oxygen to keep his blood energized, and even if your character does not have an open wound, he'll get tired due to fatigue.  I agree.
At least my character can breathe through his skin.
