" Maybe .... some time with another ? " Madeline asked suggestively . She was joking , of course . But Travis was a man who recognized her intellectual level , and understood the powers they both had . Certainty someone to keep around .
" Possibly nothing , " she said with boredom . Taking out and lighting another cigarette , she continued , " like I said , no bloodbaths . " Madeline laughed after puffing out some smoke .

Travis let out a smirk, he knew no matter what she said jokingly that deep down she really wished she had someone to be with. They knew so little of themselves yet knew everything about themselves, it was a mutual knowledge of one another through a common ability that they shared...
"No bloodbaths indeed..." He laughed as he opened his book again and shook his head. She was fun to be around and they both definitely had the same sense of humor...
"You know, smoking is bad for you, its killing you..." Travis looked up from his book slightly with a smirk...

And you`re right , she added , it does hurt to wake up alone .

Travis smiled...
"Miss Madeline, no matter if we are dead or not, we still have a heart. If we have no heart then the pain of being alone wouldnt be there. We are a race built from sorrow in our hearts, we live forever and lose those we love then grow cold...but we never lose our hearts. Its our souls that we have given away, thats the bargain we make by being what we are, whether its worth it is another story..." Travis closed his book again and looked into Madelines eyes...
"I wanted you to hear that thought....I know how it feels, I spent almost my entire life alone."

After a long pause Travis rose from his seat and bowed his head at Madeline...
"Well my dear Madeline, its unfortunate to say that I cant stay any longer in this stuffy bar so im going out to get myself some air. Its a pleasure as always to talk to you and I hope we get the pleasure to do this again..." Travis smiled politely and briskly walked through the bar to the door. The talk about being alone for some reason bothered him a bit, but it was nothing to dwell too much upon, it seemed that being alone was the safest and easiest thing to do.

Madeline smiled with enjoyment as he left . Interesting man , cunning .
Putting out her cigarette , she took her bottle to one of the stools at the bar , and started up a conversation with a heavily drunk girl . Simply for the amusement .

Alexander walked into the bar, moving over to the counter nodding over to the barman as he brought over his usual drink. He took a large swig of his drink as he began to think of the events of last and how it all unfolded. He did not know why the lycan had choosen to attack Jagger in such a way, he had clearly seen the hurt in her eyes before she left even though she tried to hide it, he saw it. He looked up at the mirror, only to see nothing staring back at him as he felt strangely empty inside, as he took another sip.

Ravi peered out from the darkness of his corner he had been sitting in. He watched as Alexander made his way to the bar. Ravi's ice blue eyes glanced over him..He seemed oddly different. He ran a hand thoughtfully through his blond hair then sighed. "Why do I even bother.." he sighed then reluctantly grabbed the stool next to Alexander. "Why so sad?" he said,his voice bored yet wondering.

Alexander did not look up, remained staring at the mirror as he took another sip; "Well if it isn't Jagger's lovesick." He said with a smile "What are you doing? Hoping your beloved will walk in so you can 'bump' into her" He said as he took another sip, his mood elevating as he was able to be sarcastic to someone.

Ravi looked at the bartender and with a strange glint in his eyes. He remained that way as he forced the man to make him a glass of wine. As the bartender brought it over to him the man nodded then went about his business. Ravi swished the scarlet liquid around in the glass then brought it to his lips and took a sip. As he set it back down,his eyes became thoughtful. "I'm in love with Jagger because I made her. You see,when one turns another a special bond forms between the two. A brother-sister bond,or a mother-daughter bond, even a father-son bond..But,in this case it was a lover's bond.Those are very rare..And I do believe I would fall in ove with her even if she were mortal." he paused then glanced at Alexander."It's hard not to love her,don't you agree?" as he finished his voice never dropped from tender.

"Ok first off, stop hypnotizing the barman he will give you any drink if you just ask." He said with a brief smile as he motioned over the barman for another drink. "Two, this ain't a Lifetime special, so cut the crap. And third...Well there really isn't a third so contniue" He said leaning on hand as he mock pretended to look completely interested in what Ravi had to say.

Ravi almost smiled. "I thought so.."he muttered to himself. He leaned close to Alexander,keeping his voice low so only he could hear."Would you like to know more about Jagger's past,Alexander?" he said with a compelling edge to his voice.

Ravi rolled his eyes and gently placed a 100 dollar bill on the counter then followed Alexander out. "Do you not know how to be serious for 5 minutes?" he said annoyed.
