Read it all, don't feel like replying...Just got through with volleyball tryouts day 1. Ran a mile, some sprints, did vball stuff. Tired. Gotta go back this afternoon.

Some news: SO! As of yesterday I've a second job! I'll be babysitting my future step-cousins every other week after I get off of work (I need the money so that I can go to Anime Boston with my Vice Captain and some of our mutual friends in April). I'll be starting August 15th which blows because it's also mine and my girlfriend's one month anniversary- Knowing me, though, I'll make it work!
And. . . Get this. . . Scott's sister, the woman I'll be babysitting for, is paying me $250 A MONTH! And all this just to babysit her kids, who are actually really cool! (The eldest one, Autumn, plays Guitar Hero and she loves Greek Mythology. I can already tell that she's going to grow up to be SUPER ******** awesome!)
But yeah, I'll be here! Just my time on the computer will be limited, and there will be nights where I may have to stay overnight. And since it's not my house I'd be staying at, I don't want to be a douche and take their computer over lol.

Styk: I said it was cool, as long as everyone else keeps active we should not have a problem. I am thinking about going to Nan Desu Con in denver this September, of course, all that is to me is I take a little hit on a paycheck. Hardly the trek that saint paul to boston will be!
when you go, can you take a picture outside "Cheers" on beacon street so that I can be all jelly? lol

@ Skotti: I've never been to Boston before, so I don't know where that even is. lol I'll ask my friends Dani and Saku, though. They probably know the area; Both of them live in MA.
("Cheers" was a good show. I haven't seen all the episodes, but it was a good show.)

@Styk: about school: I'm enjoying my character design class bunches! I'm just realizing that I probably shouldn't have taken it so early... I feel like I should have taken Observational Drawing -> Drawing Anatomy -> 2D Animation Fundementals -> Character Design -> Background Design -> Conceptual Storytelling.
Because, as I found out, Con. Story. involves aspects from Character Design and Background Design, and the Character Design class involves aspects from 2D animation. And all of them require the first two.
I wasn't aware of that, so I ended up taking Observational first, the taking Anatomy and Con. Storytelling at the same time, and now I'm taking Character Design, and I haven't taken 2D animation yet....
so basically I'm all ******** up and out of order and wish I could start over and do it right... because I feel I would have done better in my classes that way.
I'm totally digging the class though.
I also have to take more general ed classes here which I honestly don't get. I already graduated with enough general ed classes to receive my Associates Degree in Fine Arts, so I shouldn't have to still take more GenEds, but apparently this school requires more GenEds than my previous school did, so I have left-overs to do. I'm taking Literature and Sociology. Both seem to involve a lot of boring non-art related homework that I just honestly couldn't care less about and don't want to do.

About Work: Well, it's been thunderstoming here since Saturday, so work is a b***h because the humidity levels and the fact that we only have swamp coolers in the place [which just add to the moisture in air and make it awful] make it near unbearable... and we have a leaky roof so we're constantly moping up wet spots. /whine
Today though, I someone came up to the counter with a really freaking cute skirt. I was like "omg, that is one bitchin' skirt." and the I look at the tag, and find that it's from LipService... which is only my favorite goth clothing line EVER. 8| I was totally bummed that they found something from LipService in my store and I had no idea it was there.... /moarwhining
We have been getting in some beautiful formal dresses though... so I have fun obsessing over those~

Work/Weather: It's been raining on and off here. All day today it was rain, rain, rain. . I was soaked by the time I got home lol.
LipService is AMAZING! I've got a couple LipService fishnet shirts! It's really awesome!
Relationship stuff: My advice. . . Just talk to them like you would with a good friend of yours; In your case, talk to him like you were talking with Ms. Foxi Cleopatra (Tell her 'Hai' for me X3). You know her, and you're very comfortable with her. . So think of how you would talk to your best friend, and you've got it in the bag. Conversation starters? That's not too hard (Well, lol at least for me, but in all honesty it's easier than people think). Sometimes starting the conversation off with a smile, and a compliment, is enough! And from there you can build up!
Like, "[Smile] I like your shirt! I think it's very classy!" And "You're the first to actually rock a look like that. It looks really good on you!" And then, "Oh! Where are my manners! I'm (insert your name here)!" And if you two are feeling really comfortable with each other then you can maybe say "Would you like to have lunch with me?"
I know I make it sound easy. . . lol That's because it really is. And this doesn't have to be just "How to get a man/woman", you can use this to make a friend or two even. Sometimes this is how good relationships start; Through friendship. Quite a few of my relationships started because I was friends with the person in question first, and they went pretty well actually!
I take it you didn't get this guy's mobile number? lol

And I agree with Styk. For you, it's probably a good idea to approach someone like a friend. Many relationships do, indeed, start as friendships. Mine did. :3 Learn to talk to people about broad subjects in a natural way. Then go from there! ^^

Totally offtopic, but about two months ago I heard something about a fantasy/"medieval" RP in the works in the Fantasy RP Brainstoming thread, but now I guess it fell apart before it started. Anyone still want one?'cause I wanna make me some new RP characters; been getting better at drawing too.

@ TV: no cable....four computers but not a single TV. My uncle believes in keeping his kids away from the idiot box so they would be more active. They are smart though and do find episodes of shows they watched at a friends place or something.
@Koji: Not to sound like a know it all but....I could've told you that wink Good luck when you do 2D /Traditional/ Analog animation. [/college senior of Traditional animation]
@Relationships: I can understand the awkwardness and the fumbling around and all that good stuff. Attacking it at the friend angle is good but just make sure you have your intentions clear after awhile or you will be stuck there.
Oh, did I mention I'm back home now?
