He supposed it would make sense for him to want to hang out with his parents. They had come out all this way to see him. "I'll see you later Billy? It was nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Kaplan!" Teddy frowned, and followed off after Hartley and Wallace. "Shoot. I need to get something for Billy for his B-day."

Hartley reaches around his neck and pulls off his pendant, a silver fob with a sapphire-colored gem inset in the middle.
"Here, give him this."

"It's an amulet. Not worth a lot, I know, but it's sort of part of a project I do in my spare time. You see, if you twirl it like this..."
Hartley spun the pendant.
"And it gives off soothing sonic vibrations. It's an early prototype, so it's not perfected, but I'd like to think it turned out sort of pretty, at least."

*As soon as the group enters, the door slams down behind them. Chris tries to look back Cassie is dragging him relentlessly. So far it looked incredibly corny...fake skeletons and cheap scares from the shadows. Until a saw blade shoots out of a hidden crevice and at Dani's head.*

Billy fumes, but is heartbroken that Teddy left with them willingly when all he wanted to do was spend the time with him, and his family.
Rebecca placed an arm around her son's shoulder and led him to the van.

GASP! That had to be something he stooole! He'd heard it on the radio. Gently he swatted it away from Teddy's hand. "He saw Hartley wearing it. If you gave him that, he'd flip!" He gave Hartley a warning glance, then pointed his eyes, then at Hartley's. He was watching him. Don't give my innocent roomie stolen goods. He's naive!

Oh my God I know Billy blows, but I still don't want any of it linked to Teddy. Look at that face, just look at it. All big and dumb and lovable. Emphatic point to Teddy's face.

She didn't have time to scream out, she would have liked to, instead she shot up her arm defensively and Witchblade's armor coated her arm as the blade was ricocheted off her body.
