The two nodded then waited for her to return. Before she had even returned, they somehow knew nothing would be found. "So now what? Should we keep trying or should we just move on?" Ray was curious as to where the person or thing with that power had gone. It's like it had just disappeared.

R'larin pouted, "I don't know, I've never dealt with anything like this before." Looking back over her shoulder, she crossed her arms over her chest and frowned in thought. "Well, I say we keep trekking." Nodding to herlself in agreement, she looked -bright eyed- to Ray and Drake.

Ray smiled yet Drake remained the same. "The let us trek. A nice long walk never hurt anything." Meir chirped and settled himself on her shoulder. Drake concidered the familiar spoiled but he didn't need another verbal bashing from Ray.

Misaki pulled Nikolai along with her, carefully stepping over fallen branches. Here, this would be a good spot, she said, noting the clearing there was in that place. She looked over her shoulder to him with a smile. Don't worry, I'm making sure nothing happens to you, she said, giving his hand a light squeeze.

Nikolai moved with her, sticking close and walking carefully. He smiled a little to her then looked around. It seemed to be a well shaded area, quiet and peaceful and shielded away from prying eyes. "It is very nice here."

Misaki nodded quite a few times. She winked to Nikolai, letting go of his hand and looking around, her eyes moving from the ground to the sky. Yes, yes this is going to be fine, she said. She looked to Nikolai with a smile. Ready to give this a try? she asked.

Scratching her head, she laughed, "Where do we head first?"

Nikolai continued to look around. He'd been through plenty of forests before but each new one always interested him. This one seemed different from the rest, however, but he wasn't sure why. When Misaki spoke, Nikolai looked back to her. "Yes, I am ready. Why do I do first?"

Misaki smiled, closing her eyes as a pale orangey pink aura surrounded them. She looked to him, her eyes the same color. How about you concentrate on extending your wings, starting from their roots in your bones... she said, putting her hands on his shoulders.

Nikolai watched her for a moment before nodding. He'd never seen someone with such power before. To concentrat, Nikolai closed his eyes and tried his best to focus on his wings, imagining them becoming larger.

As this happened, Misaki concentrated on his energies, concentrating on making their effect larger. She opened her eyes, the aura fading from around her as she smiled, patting his right shoulder. Okay, she said, take a look, cutie, Misaki laughed, his wings having grown a large span.

When feeling her hand against his shoulder then hearing her voice, Nikolai slowly opened his eyes. The sudden weight on his back nearly made him fall over. "It worked?" It was silly to ask since he could not only feel them but now see his wings as well. They had become rather large. He tested one, stretching it out slowly then contracting it again. "I have never seen wings so large..."

Misaki's brown eyes were fixated on them, she sighed softly. They're so beautiful, she said in awe, staring at them. I am so happy it worked, she said, then looking down at her hands, a satisfied smile on her face.

Moving one wing around, Nikolai lightly touching it, surprised by the feel. "They are wonderful." He then looked to Misaki and smiled. "I thank you for doing such a thing for me."

Don't thank me, they are yours, I just helped you to make them bigger, Misaki said, blushing softly as she saw his smile. Whenever you want to change them from small to big, big to small, just concentrate and you should be able to, she said. Want to try to fly a little? she asked.
