Riten ignored her and smiled at Kakorata tauntingly. All he needed was for hi to spill some of his blood. That was all.

Chris saw Riten getting attacked by Kakorata and without a second thought, Chris ran into the fight to help Riten.

But he seem to have run into a invisable wall. Somewhere in all of that blabering, Riten seemed to have cast an actual spell.
"A simple blocking spell," he explained to Chris. "I've cast it around me and Kakorata. I was given so much time to do so that not even he," Riten jerked his head towards Kakorata, "would be able to break it - unless you kill me."
He spoke the last few words to Kakorata.

Chris said in a furious tone, " RITEN, Your going to get yourself killed! Get out of there before you actually do die." Chris'ss hand curled into a fist and he hit the invisible barrier. Chris stepped backwards and screamed out in anger.

He wants me to kill him, why. Let's see. He created a barrier, that means he's a mage. He might be planning to use bloodshed as a token in sacrifice, I'll just have to kill him with no bloodshed. Shame really, I had good plans for him.

Kakorata was getting angry. I should do my most powerfull technique on him, the only one I didn't steal from anyone else. The one I learned when i was Lin Kiue. My final fatality.
