He didn't look at her and just stared down at the ground. "well, I didn't get along with some of the folks. I thought it would have been a good idea to leave. Really it was my parents idea, they didn't want to put up with me." He glanced over at her quickly. "it was alot of lonely nights, hard work, and doing jobs you never wanted to do."
(Hey, I can't help myself if I'm male and theres a girls dorm around here.)

She frowned.
"Hard work? You were only a child... that isn't very fair," she said softly. She shrugged. "I don't remember having to do any work... until my mother died and I was stuck with my step father,"
She looked away.

He put his arm around her waist and looked at her. "I'm sorry, if I had stayed I could have helped." he was a bit upset and wanted to tell her what he knew about her step father, but couldn't bring himself to, if he told her his cat would be out of the bag to. instead he tried to look into her eyse. " I thought about you all the time. I never thought I would see you again."

She looked at him.
"Really? I thought about you to... I was really upset that you left," she said softly. She didn't care that he had put his arm around her waist; it seemed to comfort her.

Foronce he thought she wasn't going to get mad at him, all he could think about was how she looked. "All I ever wanted to do was to be with you." H wasn't sure if she would go along this time but he slowly moved his face closer to hers, right now, she was the most beautifull thing he had ever seen.
((well, you might want to make them a tad longer, they kinda get amd at you for that)

"Really?" she whispered, slightly moving closer to him, staring into his eyes. He had always been so nice to her, aside from stealing her book. She suddenly felt guilty for how mean she had been to him over the years they had known each other.

He closed his eyes and and kissed her, but this time he didn't pull away and run. he let the kiss last awhile. it was soft and one he had longed for since the day he had seen her.

Though she knew it was coming, she was still slightly surprised that he kissed her. She slowly closed her eyes, not wanting to slap him like last time. She kissed him back, softly and tenderly.

After what seemed like forever he finnaly broke the kiss. "I''ll alwyas love you" he whispered to her as he opened his eyes to look at her again. He looked back at the closed door to make sure they were still alone and after a minute or so he looked a bit sad again. "one of the things I did, I-I learned something about your Step father. I never told you cause after leaving of course I had yet to see you." He finnaly put both arms around her embrasing her and praying she wouldn''t hate him for what he had to say.

She opened her eyes as he broke the kiss. She looked at him and blinked.
"What did you learn?" she asked.
She put her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes again, awaiting his answer. She suddenly felt very safe in his arms. What could he have learned about her step father that she didn't already know?

He couldn't help but let a tear develop. "I found out that before your mother he was involved in trading using people." He couldn't help but think back to those times. after his first two jobs he had remebered seing a man with a cage of people. When he was down and out and with no wehre to turn he had gone to the merchants, they gave him a job instead of throwing him in a cage. they said they liked his "spirit". he asked what had happend to the man he saw before and had been told he went to a village, the very same village she had lived in. If he was as bad as she said he was it would explaine where the man had learned being mean from. He closed his eyes and tried not to think aoubt the evils he had comited just so he could stay alive. it was a part of his past he tried to forget.

She lifted her head and looked at him. She pulled out of his embrace. She blinked, staying silent for a couple of minutes.
"What do you mean... 'using people'?" she asked slowly and quietly, not looking at him, shifting away slightly. She kept her eyes on the ground, her ears in tuned and waiting for his response. Using people? As in slaves? Or was it something worse? People...

He imediatly knew he had lost with that sentance what he had finnaly been able to achive. his love would now think him horrible, and all of his dreams that resided with her were over. "we didn't ask, they did with them what they pleased. we only took care of them and sold them" he had left everything he had at that place, the only thing he had was his clothes. he looked at her ashamed and ready to die inside. he had to tell her, he thought it wasn't rigt to keep this from her. after all, the man had been with her mother till she died.....he wondered what had killed her, but deicded it best not to ask.
