Nebride sighed as she held on even more tightly to Gwendar. "He always did know what to say. Tell me something else--was it him who healed you? I seem to remember you being hurt pretty bad when Valco....captured me." She looked up into his eyes. "Did Jeroviah heal you?"

"What about the villagers?.......do you think they could live around here aswell?"

Nebride blinked at him. She knew that Gwendar was becoming uncomfortable talking about Jeroviah. She decided to drop the subject. "I suppose so. As long as they don't mind living so near elves. I know my people won't mind....in fact---they would be delighted.
Nebride gently ran her finger along Gwendar's cheek as she kissed him. "It could be fun. And about building a fortres---it shouldn't be too hard. My people have had plenty of practice."

deep down he was still a simple farming man.
he looked around at the beauty of the lake it was very romantic.
he looked down at nebride she was beautiful.
"Nebride wat was your old village like?"

Nebride stood up and pulled Gwendar with her. "Come, I'll show you." She pulled him along with her through the woods. Finally they came to a clearing. In the center was a large structure. Some of had been burned and the rest had begun to fall apart over the years of none-use.
"That was our temple. There we could pray to our God. It is also where the shaman would do their magic. My Aunt was shaman before me. She passed her knowledge down to me." Nebride motioned around where there wer smaller structures. These ones were completely gone except for the random steps here and there. "These were our homes. As you can tell--it was nothing big. We live a simple life--we did not need anything big. We still don't."

he even saw an pld imperial sword.
"you know that the emperor didnt mean for this to happen right?"

"I...I know," Nebride finally whispered. "He was tricked into this by Valco. I told you before Gwendar---I never hated the emperor. I just felt no love towards him. I'm not particularly friendly with him now, but at least I feel a little compassion towards him."
She turned to face Gwendar. "If he hadn't shown up then we both would be dead. We wouldn't be able to rebuild this place and make it the thrivig community it once was."

Nebride grinned at him. "We actually settled not too far from here. It's about an hour's travel...that way." She pointed in the opposite direction from which they had come. "We knew that people would look for us far away. They would never dream that we settled so close."
Nebride's breath caught as her eyes finally settled and locked with Gwendars. "Gwendar I...I...."

he definably wanted to.

Instead of answering with words Nebride reached up and graspe his face in her hands. She closed her eyes and pressed her lips against his. "I love you Gwendar," she whispered. "Thank you so much for everything you have done for me."

Nebride kissed him back. For some reason--she just couldn't stop. She pulled Gwendar back with her until she was leaning agaist a tree. "This...this feels so right."

Nebride smiled at him as she helped him take off his shirt. "Gee--what do you think Gwendar?" Nebride kissed him as she ran her hands over his chest.
