"Vampire..." Shaydra muttered. She couldn't help but feel slightly repelled by Josh. After all, his kind was designed to prey on dragons, like herself.
A shadow passed over her and she looked up, seeing Sigilos drifting lazily on the breeze. "What did you want to talk to me about?" she said to him, knowing he could hear her even from this distance.

Neoxis wasn't anywhere around luxran at all. Instead, he was following shaydra from a distance.

Luxran ran up to the group knowing neoxis was somewhere near them but her wasn't sure where. "So... what did i miss?" he asked

((sorry guys! I haven't been on in three weeks! SORRY!!))
Lex had quietly followed Josh, trying keeping up with his pace. When they reached the front of hs house, she collapsed on the ground, panting. "She's right, you are fast!" She breathed. Lex stayed on the ground untill the others had joined them and they had a plan.

Shaydra fluttered up like a giant bat from where she was about to land and placed her feetpaws gently on the eaves of the roof. "Is there actually anyone living in here anymore?" she asked.

Sigilos snapped out of his revere, and glided back to Shaydra.
*I'm not sure who lives here, or who ever did. I'm not worried about that, we have something we need to discuss. Do you remember your parents at all?*

Shaydra blinked. "No... I have both human and dragon parents, don't ask me how, but that's as far as my ancestral knowledge goes...why?"

He landed next to her and folded his massive pinions.

He curled his body around the roof of the building, resting his head on the curled end of his tail.

Shaydra settled with her head on her paws, facing Sigilos, her eyes closing in an effort to think harder. "That's about as far as I can get...but wait..." Her eyes flickered beneath her eyelids.
"Well, the parent I remember most is my mother, who I think was a dragon but chose to be trapped as a human. She always was a woman in her mid-twenties, mingling with humans and hiding from something. I was born as a human.
Well, my father...I saw him only once, before I knew I was a dragon, and he was a large gold with silver scale patterns and eyes; he frightened me very much." Her eyes snapped open. "You didn't tell me why you wanted to know."

In a quite, gentle voice, he answered the dragon before him.
*Shaydra, I don't have to ask. I know who your parents are, because I was raised by them.*
He gave a moment for that to sink in, then continued.
*I was not born to them, so I am not your brother by blood, but I was raised by them, and called them mother and father just as you have. I am your foster-brother. Why do you think I have been protecting you for so long and with so much commitment? Our mother took you when you where young, and hid with you among the humans because our family was being hunted. Our father, the one who frightened you so, loved you deeply, and took me with him to lure the hunters away. That was before you would remember, and I was old enough then to look like an adult, so even if you did remember, you would have been told I was an uncle or friend of the family. They hunted us because of me, and because of you. Don't misunderstand me, it's not your fault or mine. The people hunting us wanted our power, wanted to enslave and use us for their own power and comfort.*

He closed his eyes, all expression leaving his face.
*Our mothers name was Aldudenie, it means Lament for the Two Trees. She was a silver, and one of the kindest dragons to ever live. Our father, our father was almost as kind, but he was fierce as an army regiment in battle. His name was Tirion, it means watchtower.*
