"than you and i are similar. i've been on my own for quite a while, Sithis, as far as i'm concerned, hasn;t been here for me much...i admit. it seems he likes to stick me near death instead of allow me to cause death. i serve under no lord, brother. but i daresay, i work for the good of the Brotherhoos. so in a way, everyone here is my master."

She shook her head. "i don;t heed masters though, my brother. my amsters often ended up dead." she licked her lips and chuckled. "as far as i'm considered, all my brethren here are both superiors and equals. I merely meant that i will do what i can to protect my brothers, no matter what. because we're a family, as messed up as an assassin group can be considered a family...i feel more at home with a bunch of murderers and battle thristy people than with the outside world..."

But after that it slowly got to the point where when I wasn't resting during the day - I would be either feeding, or hunting to feed." Not by natural causes of course, but by blade or sun. Fear of the sun consumes you as does the thirst. I only came to The Dark Brotherhood a few month's ago; and although I know that I would be loved here no matter what I was, I would have been a hazard to everyone here. By the time that I sought a cure, I was a monster. In fact it was only by feeding once a day towards the end that I could relatively 'blend in' with a crowd. "I'm overjoyed to be human again. Although in reality I'm 224 years old, it is now as if I'm only 23. I can live a normal life amongst The Brotherhood - maybe take a wife, have children. I still have the intelligence, wisdom, and experience of someone whom has lived more than one lifetime - this is a blessing few have and I am eternally grateful for that." Gerard raised his wine glass and proclaimed, "To The Dark Brotherhood - may we all find an inner peace here that comes to only those whom have spilled the blood of their fellow man and woman!" "Most people don't know that I used to be a vampire... but I wasn't for long." Leo said. "I love taking long journeys, and if you don't find a victim, you have to find awkward places to hide during the day... it interfered with my adventuring, so I sought a cure quickly, it is too bad that it took so long."

Leo spoke to the other two in a stern voice, with an angry look on his face. "What you choose ultimately to believe is up to you..." he started. "But just know that you serve Sithis, whether or not you choose to believe in him. To call him boring will invoke the Wrath of Sithis..." Leo said. "I won't put you down simply because his spirit will do a better job." With that, he nodded in regard to his fellow ex vampire, and left the room, too angry to speak.
