People always say "relax your eyes and you'll get it" but that doesn't help at all*- you actualy have to cross your eyes a bit, like you're looking at something midway between the picture and the end of your nose. At just the right point two parts of the image will line up on top of each other but since it's not the same thing everywhere your brain gets confused and thinks theres a holographic type image there.
*I used to try to do it by letting my eyes stop focussing until I figured out the double image idea*

Jon-OH i can never get those things to work. I suspect it's because i have one eye. That's funny. ... I always though you had two eyes. Huh. ninja

Maybe you could just get your one eye to look in two directions at the same time- it would be kind of like that hole in zero thing but more up to you than just ranom chance.

You wouldn't, but that wouldn't be a problem because unlike a hole in zero you wouldn't be looking in zero directions- you'd be looking in two.
The worst you would have to worry about, aside from temporal rifts forming, would be a little heat build up.
