Well...
Maximos said with a smirk.
You can never tell what sort of things a pawn shop would buy. I hear there is a real market for unique and or legendary weapons.
He smiled in that odd manner, sort blurring whether or not he was joking or serious.

Nexxus frowned and snorted.
"And a beggar would be scammed. These are more useful owned, than put at a high price."
His eyes drifted over Maximos.
"Do you know of a place with life? Vibrant, throbbing existance?"

Then whoever buys it would certainly have come into something good.
He cocked his head to the side, a bit confused by the statement that followed.
I dont believe I understand, the nature of your question. Are you asking me if I know a place full of life?

"Somewhere fun. Where nobody is worried, and there are.... games." His eyes drifted, towards the sunset, towards the sea.
"Where I can fight, if I want." His lips practically purred the words out. He was tired of fighting ghosts. He wanted to devestate something fleshy and vulnerable.

And thats exactly what Maximos saw. The desire to devastate something fleshy and vulnerable. And he did not like it not at all. But there was a place for people like that, and while the shadow had no problem directing to it.
He pointed north.
Far in the north past Barton there is a place called the Leviathan Stadium. There you can fight all you like, whomever you like. And their are plenty of fighters there that can give you a challenge.

Tenkyl follows after Sundrea and the rat, looking around very cautiously at the hallway. The blood on the walls and carpet is quite disquieting, to say the least. He looks into the room that the rat scurried into, trying to get a good look inside before actually heading into the room.

Blood had never bothered her before but seeing and smelling so much of it was making her feel a bit nauseated. As they got further into the ship, Sundrea's eyes adjusted to the dimming light so she could see just as well as she did in brood daylight. It was a good thing too. She had continued to follow the rat but stopped when seeing it join a pack of several more. She wasn't see she wanted to know exactly what they were doing.

Nexxus frowned, seeing what the man saw in hind-sight, and knowing, on some level, how unattractive it must have seemed to his beliefs.
"I apologize, for being so distastefully hungry for the hunt. I will remember what you have said, and attempt to keep such options open as well. After all, I am fresh-born, and have the ability to make my own choices... I will acknowledge what advice you have given, Maximos, I will acknowledge and heed it, where I have the chance."

There was a sound of something tearing. Several rats scuttled away, carrying between them what looked like a mottled and stiff human arm. More rats carried away other limbs, leaving a dried, mottled, chewed up torso and head of what looked like a dead fisherman behind, with tatters of a plaid soiled shirt draped over his chest.
Somewhere down the hall came a sudden loud clamor, like pots falling to the floor.

Tenkyl watches carefully as the rats tear and scuttle away with this battled and ripped corpse, looking up at the sound of the pots and pans down the hall a bit. He looks over at Sundrea, then back down the hall a bit.
Nothing about this smells right... be careful.

Sundrea's stomach churned when the rats hurried off. This wasn't the sort of adventure that she was looking for. "I don't think this has smelled right from the beginning," she replied, backing away from the body and back into the hall. She almost wasn't sure that she wanted to check out the sound down the hall...but she wasn't going to wimp out now. Tugging on Tenkyl's coat, Sundrea started towards the other room, moving slowly in case rats came running by. She didn't want to step on them.

Silence.
And then, a low moaning sound, coming from a room up ahead; the room the noise came from.

Tenkyls claws unsheath as he slowly starts making his way toward the room with the moaning sound in it, looking around as his ears perk up.
"Stay close..."

When hearing the slow moan, Sundrea instantly thought someone was in need of help. She could never resist the urge to help someone who needed it. Rather than listen to Tenkyl and stay with him, Sundrea hurried past him and ahead toward the sound. "Hello? Is someone there?," she asked out loud when getting closer to the room, stepping almost in front of the doorway. She wasn't too stupid; just in case the moaning was to lure them, her dagger was ready to be unsheathed.

The door was slightly ajar, the room inside dark. A faint voice, female by the sounds of it, weak and barely audible, came from inside.
"Is somebody there? H... help... me..."
