Taiki walked up the tree a couple more times. After an hour he'd gotten up about nine feet.
"That's really good for an academy student," he said, "but you could get alot higher if you took a running start."
"Okay," Taiki said. He backed up a little and then focused his chakra again. Then, he ran forward and went about halfway up the tree.

Taiki ran up the tree several more times and eventually made his way all the way up to the top of the tree. he jumped back down but tripped and rolled across the ground. his fater looked at him and shook his head.
"Why didn't you just run back down the tree?"
"I don't know."
"Run back up the tree then run back down." Taiki stood up and put his hand on the tree. then he walked backwards a few feet and focused his chakra. then he ran up to the top of the tree. he turned quickly and ran back down.

Taiki's father smiled.
"Good, now focus your Chakra while you run up to the the tree. It's faster that way. Also I want you to stop running part of the way up and walk onto a branch upside down."
"What!?"
"Don't worry. it'll be easy for you." Taiki took a deep breath and started running. he focused his chakra and got about halfway up the tree before he stopped running. He took a step and then fell back down. His father caught him.
"Close. Just remember not to stop focusing your chakra when you stop running."

Taiki Took a deep breath and ran up the tree again. he stopped about a trid of the way up the tree. Then he walked over to a branch and stood on it. Then, he swung upsided down.
"How's this?"
"Perfect. Don't come down yet. Just go up to the top of the tree. but walk." Taiki walked all the way up to the top of the tree and waited for his father to give him more instructions.

"Jump"
"Are you crazy!"
"Just jump. Trust me." Taiki sighed. He released the chakra from his feet and jumped as far as he could. he got some impressive distance too. His father nodded.
"Okay walk up to the top of the tree and jump a few more times." Taiki did as he was told. after an hour or so Climbing the tree had become second nature.

Tauro has just learned that with his chakra he can create clones of himself he ask Aruka what kind of other stuff can he do with his chakra. "With your growth as a ninja you will learn a whole variety of jutsu. Some will be used for attacks others will be illusions you can even manipulate the elements with special jutsu." Said Aruka. Tauro asks, "Is there like a jutsu that can make me fly?" "None that I know of but there are many techniques I don't know." Aruka continues and tells Tauro that there is a jutsu that allows him to shapeshift and he is going to teach him it.

Aruka teaches Tauro how to mold his shape using chakra so he can change his appearance. "The more chakra you put into this the more you can change. The change is merely an illusion with little chakra but with lots of chakra you can virtually change your appearance." "So if I were use henge no jutsu to become a dog I could do that?" Tauro thought this was interesting so he tried to turn into Aruka. "Ha look now I'm you." "You look like me but you're really not." Aruka explains that even though he might look like someone he could still be found out as an imposter if the right person is around.

Tauro assumes the appearance of Aruka and Aruka tells him his appearance is flawed that he's missing a distinct scare above his eye. "If you were in an infiltration mission and you were to assume a person identity to escape and someone noticed that you would be dead." Aruka tells Tauro to fix his mistake to attain a perfect transformation. Tauro undoes his henge no jutsu and does it again this time he remembers to add the scare above his eye. "Is this okay Aruka?" asked Tauro "Yeah this looks ok even though the scare is under the wrong eye but considering that you're still in the academy good job

Aruka was doing his friend a favor so he left Tauro with two things. "Tauro I'm leaving you this scroll I want you to be able to use this technique by time I come back." Said Aruka. "But what if I can't learn it on my own?" asked Tauro "If you Have problems just look at the back of the scroll for problems my other students had and how they dealt with it. Oh and here take this you'll need it." Aruka left Tauro with a scroll and a log with lots of shurikens in it. Tauro was know very nervous he opened the scroll to discover for him to do this technique he would have to replace himself with the log in a way that it appeared that he disappeared.

After studying the scroll for a while Tauro decided the first thing he was going to learn was how to replace himself with the log. He began to practice swapping between himself and the log he would have to do a sequence of hand seals aim at a certain point and go to another but make it look as if he never moved an inch. This was extremely hard but he thought It was as easy as figuring out the closest spot to hide at. It consumed very little chakra doing it across short distances but it was harder to hide. Feeling he could do this right while in battle he went in search of someone to help him practice.

Tauro wondered around the academy looking for someone to practice with and found kid practicing his aim with shurikens "Hey kid where's your ninja teacher?" asked Tauro The boy explained that his teacher told him practice his aim instead of coming to class that day. Tauro asked if it would be okay if he helped him out the boy agreed but after Tauro asked him to throw shurikens at him he wasn't sure about it. Tauro told him about the technique and the boy was still scared to he did it regardless. They practiced with each other that whole afternoon most of the time Tauro was patching himself up from shuriken wounds.

Aruka came back from his short trip and found Tauro and the boy Practicing. The boy was throwing multiple shurikens at Tauro but Tauro was hesitant in doing The Art of substitution jutsu instead he climb into a tree that was next to him. While in the Tree Tauro looked for a spot to hide Right as he found a spot the boy threw a shuriken quickly doing the hand seals Tauro Swaps with the dummy the boy was practicing with. The boy looks around with shuriken in hand and Aruka interferes. "Look at what he switched with he has to be close to what he switched with." The boy thought for a moment in looked in the tree the dummy was hanging in originally he throws a shuriken in the branches and Tauro drops out barely dodging the shuriken. Aruka was proud in how Tauro learned the skill on his own.

Aruka explained that after he left and did a favor for his friend he arranged for them to take a trip a little outside of the village. That afternoon they left for a camping trip Tauro woke up early the next morning expecting a fun morning but Aruka told him they were there to climb trees. "Climb trees I can do that in my sleep no problem." Said Tauro Aruka showed what he meant by climbing trees. "Can you do it like this though?" asked Aruka Tauro knowing full well that he couldn't do it ran up the tree at full speed and fell.

Aruka explained that just running up the tree would cause him to fall every time he did it. "Instead of using force why don't you just use chakra to climb the tree?" said Aruka. Aruka came down and Had Tauro practice by picking up a kunai with his feet and no use of his toes. Aruka dropped a kunai on the ground and stepped on it he lift his foot up and on the bottom of his shoe was the kunai just sitting there. Tauro mimicked his teacher and threw a kunai on the ground but when he picked up his foot the kunai stayed on the ground.

Aruka Just sat there and watched Tauro hopelessly attempt to lift the kunai when finally Tauro moved it up a bit. "Aruka why can't I lift this up like you did you must have used a tool or something?" asked Tauro, Aruka shook his head "All I did was focus my chakra into my foot to lift it. Its just as easy as using chakra to do bushin no jutsu you just don't have the hand seals." Tauro mad at Aruka continues trying to lift the kunai off the ground then he starts to think about what his teacher said and started to focus on his foot instead of the kunai. He lifted his foot up but instead of just the kunai he lifted dirt and grass too.
