McKenzie hadn't said much as they left the hospital wing, but kept stealing glances at Kathryn as they walked. It was only when she said something that she glared. "I don't know what you're talking about O'Riley." She forced her attention to Faith, noticing the downcast nature of the girl. "What's wrong with you?"

Kathryn/The Raven muttered something in french, pushing their hair out of their face. With a frustraighted sigh she pulled out a peice of black ribbion and used it to tie her longer hair into a low pony tail before looking at Faith and McKenzie, pointly inforing the last's reply and glare.

*Faith kept her gaze down as she spoke* They can't close the school. I have nowhere to go if they send all of us home. Not that I would want to go back anyway. *Faith stole a glance at Kathryn* Maybe you are a puzzle O'Riley. You're our age when we see you not too long ago, and now you're practically an adult. If that isn't puzzling then what is?

Ninjara *Faith kept her gaze down as she spoke* They can't close the school. I have nowhere to go if they send all of us home. Not that I would want to go back anyway. *Faith stole a glance at Kathryn* Maybe you are a puzzle O'Riley. You're our age when we see you not too long ago, and now you're practically an adult. If that isn't puzzling then what is? Kathryn/The Raven sighed before speaking "It is no more of a puzzle this the wolves Faith. As for the school closing...I know of a place you could stay for free if such fate leads us to that road"

*Faith turned down the corridor to the Slytherin common room* As much as I appreciate the offer O'Riley, I'm not one to take hand-outs. *She entered the common roomand sat down. Professor Snape came by to inform the Slytherin house that the Quidditch match would still be played that day, saying that despite the recent events, Professor Dumbledore wanted everyone in Hogwarts to go about their regular routine. Faith went to her closet and got out her Quidditch uniform and Firebolt broom* First match against Hufflepuff. Not really much of a challenge.

McKenzie had followed Faith into the common room, giving Kathryn a short and stern nod before closing the common room door. She only half heartedly listened to Snape as her mind was on earlier events, attempting to figure out her two companions. She wandered up to the dorm, digging through her trunk for her Quidditch uniform. She gave a slight nod to Faith's words, not really registering what she had said. How did the marks on her back get there? And Kathryn... and wait... where was Malfoy? He and his goons weren't in the common room. She paused in her actions as she thought about this, not realizing she was doing so.

*Faith donned her uniform and headed for the door. Today would be her first day as team captain. She paused and looked over her shoulder* Hey Wallace, stop daydreaming and hurry the hell up! *She exited the dorm and went to the Quidditch pitch to meet the rest of her team mates. After a short debriefing they mounted their brooms and soared out onto the field to take their positions*

McKenzie tried to get her focus as she soared through the air with her club, but her mind was to busy trying to answer unanswerable questions. She shook her head, only half hearing the starting whistle. Come on Wallace, get it together. This is quidditch. She took a deep breath to focus and spun on her broom, looking around the field for bludgers.

*Faith raced around the field at break-neck speed scoring points for the team. She ducked in time for a bludger to fly past her head. She intercepted the quaffle and threw it through one of the hoops to score another ten points* Yeah! *She cheered as she hovered, overlooking the event, watching her team work together as one*
*Draco hid in a secluded spot in one of the spectator towers watching closely. He took a crossbow, armed with a silver headed arrow, and aimed it at Faith* "Gotcha now Freak." *He said and pulled the trigger*
*Faith jerked as she felt something strike her chest. She looked down to see a crossbow bolt sticking out directly over her heart. A terrible burning coursed through her as she reeled on her broom and toppled over, losing consciousness as she fell from one hundred feet in the air*

McKenzie glanced over in time to see Faith lurch forward as if hit and fall from her broom. With speed and panic she raced toward the girl, swearing as she neared the ground. She threw her club away, positioned herself on her broom, and swooped under the American, catching her. That was close... what the hell is that?! "********! Silver!" She landed on the ground, pulling the arrow from the girl. Seems someone else has the same suspicions as I do.

Kathryn/The Raven who had seen the whole thing from the stands moved quickly and with out resestence to the slythern's stands. Pulling her wand from her robes she walked right to Draco and punched him right in the face hard enough to bust his nose and send blood everywhere before she pointed her wand at him and shouted
"Petrificus Totalus!" Watching as it froze the male Slythern in a full body bind before using the levatation spell to drag him from the stands for a little 'chat'

McKenzie hurredly looked around, hoping someone would be nearby to help, but it seemed as if everyone else was slow in re-acting. Without hesitation she tore the shirt where Faith's would was and began sucking out the poisoned blood. With each suck her mouth burned as the silver tinted blood was pulled out. She only stopped when the burning stopped. She then tore the hem of her Quidditch robe, using it to staunch the wound. By the time Madam Pomfry reached them the bleeding was slowing. Faith was wisked away from her in a second and taken to the hospital wing as questions were overflowing her ears. "Faith..."

During the confustion Kathryn/The Raven was able to levitate the petrafied Draco away by going around back behind the stands. She saw McKenzie and with a wicked grin at Draco she called the girl over "Hey Wallace! I found the d**k hole who hurt Faith! Want to have some fun?" She called out, clearly both the teen and the old hag in agreement that the ******** should be punished

McKenzie shook her head abscently, not really hearing what the Irish girl had said. She stared in the direction of the school, her body slumped and her eyes empty of all emotion. Faith...
