Damian laughed abit, "That is because no one ever got me wet on purpose before and got away with it. As for who we are there is not much to it. I'm a vampire and rain is my slave. He's been mine since he was a small boy. Thats about all there is to it."

Damian smiled and looked over at Tenza, patting the ground hoping she would sit beside him. "Life has been so very dull recently. Though you seem to brighten it up Tenza. Your very different and that is something that I enjoy very much.

Rain scowled abit at Damians remark but was happy that Tenza returned his book to him. Slinking down the tree abit more he opened it up and began reading it again. He was really starting to despise Damian.

"Oh come on, eveyone has more history than that," Tenza accepted the offer, and sat down beside Damien, one of her wings haning loosely behind him, "I mean, you're a vampire. You must have lived a long time. Even people who have only 70 years on the worlds have a more detailed story than that," Tenza turned her head so she was looking at Damien quizzically, "Or are you afraid that if you tell me, I will take you story, screech it from the rooftops, and sell it to al the newspapers I can find?" Tucking her knees into her body, and resting her arms on them, she lay her head down as if to sleep, but kept her eyes open, "Hmmm..." Tenza was wondering about Damien. He said that no ne had ever got him wet before and gooten away with it. So why had he let her get away with it so easily?

"Ah but you see most of us don't wish to become vampires. Those of us who ar turned against our will tend to hate those who created us and well..we try to forget about the past and move on with our lives..but since your so insistant on knowing about my past I'll tell you what I can remember. Lets see now..I believe it was back in Greece..yes..a seemingly strange place for vampires to dwell but each culture has their own version of the vampire. Though our myths dwell on heros and horrible monsters as you can tell from all the different tales and many different Gods. My brother and I were not born in Greece but infact moved there when we where old enough to leave home. It seemed like a strange new world that both of us wanted to explore. My brother Leon and I lived in that town happily..We were lucky enough to have money of our own and lived in the finest house available to us. We were invited to the finest events but my brother often strayed from those events. For some reason he would much rather go down to the filthiest places to assist merchants. I didn't mind to much as he enjoyed it. In Greece we not only found a new way of thinking, new dishes to eat, and new beverages to savor..but we also found the pleasures the flesh so desperatly yerns for there..." Damian stopped and decided to skip the next part..he hadn't told a soul about his life yet willingly told Tenza..perhaps because he had a great deal of respect for her..she was true to herself that was obvious and something that very few seemed to possess.

Taking a deep breath he continued.."My brother and I where about to leave Greece when it happened..The two of us where packing up our things to leave..we wished to leave the place that held such fond yet..depressing memories..However something was not about to let us go..On the carriage ride out of Greece we had almost reached the border..The man who drove our carriage let out a horrid scream..his body crunched beneath the wheels of the carriage. I looked out to see what was going on and found no driver..looking behind I only saw his crumpled body on the ground. His neck was nearly torn from his body in some horrible fashion. I feared for Leon's life so I climbed out and grabbed the reigns. Stoping the spooked horses. Once they stopped I began to look around..wherever had killed that man was surly out there..and I was not about to let it take us next.." Damian stoped once again and seemed to go into a deep thought..."However..I can't remember what happened next..all I know after that is I woke up in a bedroom, chained to the floor like an animal. The faces of those who turned me still seem to elude me..it was as if I had been drugged. Whatever it was..male or female..their hands where incredibly soft yet at the same time to strong for that of a mortal. A conversation ensued but I cannot tell about what...Days, weeks, months passed like that. Being treated like an animal is the worst thing anyone can ever be put threw in my opinion. Its even worse when you have been the one doing the same threwout your life. I suppose it was only fitting I ensue the same fate. My life there passed by like a dream, I do believe my brother suffered the same fate yet I am not certian. Somehow I got away..or perhaps they just let me go after I was turned. Whatever the case I was asleep for a few years straight. When I woke up things had changed, not drasticly but enough to scare me. I was not sure where I was or what was going on. But I did manage to swindle people out of their money. Hiding it away..collecting peices of art and saving them. Three hundred years later these all became priceless artifacts and I was able to regain my status. After which I mostly stayed to myself. Nothing seemed to interest me anymore. That is until I found Rain. He had ran away from his home after killing both his parents by accident with his telekenetic powers."

"Eh!..Damian!!" Rain shouted. Closing his book and getting up to walk away.

"Sit down Rain..you don't want to get beaten like you did the other day do you? Tenza asked about my story and I am telling her so sit!" Damian commanded.

Rain blinked and sighed as he slowly sat back down onto the ground. Opening his book again.

Damian looked over at Tenza and continued. "It really wasn't his fault. The poor boy watched his mother get beaten by his brute of a father day in and day out. Even Rain suffered and eventually he snapped. Rain was afraid of the consiquences so he ran and hide inside and overturned trash can as it had started raining. I had just happened to be taking a walk that night and found him. He just kept muttering 'I'm Sorry'. So I took him in..made him feel comfortable..and then took control. Doing so I was able to gain his loyalty. However life became rather boring after a few years. We found this university and I decided to come here. Rain needs to learn how to control his powers better which is the main reason why we are here. However I never thought I would meet anyone as interesting as you Tenza."

"Thank you for the compliment," Tenza said absentmindedly, as she contemplated what damien had just said. Greece? Personally, she had never heard of vampires there, but there was always more myths to read and legends to learn... Bringing her knees up to her chin, she whispered to them, only half-aware she was doing so, "Pleasures of the flesh...does he mean prostitutes?" Her brothers had kept some, and Tenza had found them pitiful beings, nothing left of their formers selves save their bodies, the use of which to please others they were experts.

Sighing, then grinning, Tenza lowered her knees into a cross-legged position, and asked, "Rain, you seem to like reading. have you ever read Cassie, by Stephen King? You might be able to sympathise with the main character," leaning against the tree behind her, Tenza stretched her wings, up, up and out. Then, letting out a deep breath, she supposed, "I suppose you will want me to tell you about my history now, right? To make it equal?"

"Well to be fair they where not prostitutes. Women we had fallen in love with actually. Our first loves..however both women met with...such unfortunate deaths..." Damian went quiet again as he tried to shove the memory of that horrid night from his mind, still unsure of who the culprit was.

Rain looked up and shook his head no, "No unfortunatly not, I really don't have to many books. I found this one in the ruins of the lab thats off campus. It seems to be more like a journal in actuality but thats alright. Its fun to read. I haven't been to the library here, do you think they would have that book available?" Rain asked curiously, obviously interested in the prospect of a new book.

Damian turned his head over to Tenza with a slight smile, watching her wings with utmost interest, "I'd like to hear your history but I will not force you to say anything you don't wish."

Akuma walked into the courtyard slowly and paused, his eyes closed as he savored the cool breeze. Unlike his usual attire, he was wearing am expensive black tux with a red tie that had an interestingly unique black design on it. His jacket flapped silently due to being unbuttoned and the breeze. He had the sleeves of both his tux jacket and white shirt folded up to end just below his elbows. He also had the first two buttons of his white shirt unbuttoned and his tie slightly loose. All together he was wearing an expensive tux in a casual, yet still fancy, way.

He walked forward again at a slightly brisker pace than before and stopped by a tree to lean against it for a bit, not knowing that there was an occupant to the tree on the other side. He sighed and slumped down until he was sitting against the tree. He entertain him while he stayed there, Akuma held out his right hand before him and it immediately was engulfed in magical, yet harmless, fairie fire.

Geist walked through the courtyard silently, the violin slung over one shoulder. She had no found her dorm. She didn't mind though, she liked being outside with the whispers of the dead to comfort her. She saw several people talking, and she wanted to come join them. She saw a young feminine man, someone who was obviously his master and had the aura of the dead, and one other. Yet she knew she would not be welcome. Instead she sat on a bench quietly, the spirits crowding in her mind. Holding the violin easily with her left hand she brought her right arm out of the coat. It was a prosthetic arm, shaped like a violin stick. She started playing the violin, a deep rich song that spoke of silence and sorrow. She could feel the spirits drawn towards her, their whispered voices filling her mind, their dead fingers brushing her soul. She wanted to be in the land of the living, to talk to those warm living beings that laughed and were friends, but she couldn't bring herself too. Instead, she settled for the company of the dead.
