Inzi shifted at the splash and followed Musko down toward the water. He perched on a branch that hung just over where the one on land was and clicked his beak.

"KA!" Msuko squealed upon seeing the wet black mass of fur. She hopped a few times, kree-ing, until she finally landed on the same branch Inzi was. Not wanting to get eaten again, of course. And not willing to give the other furball a chance to.
"Kree, I am Msuko. And that is the thing that tried to eat me yesterday." The bird squacked, pointing one brightly feathered wing in the direction of the furry thing swimming to shore.

*Reacheing the shore he places his front paws on the outskirts. Lifting his lower body out of the water he reminds you of a cat outs water. His normally sleek black fur now looked like a black clump of fur. Shakeing violently water goes spirting everywhere. His fur is now partly dried, but now it has a slightly poof to it. Opening his eyes he looks around as all seemed to have eyes on him or the significant other. Backing away slightly into the tree above them, he growls slightly. Looking up into the tree he notices anothers up their.*

"I dont think i have seen that one before." he shifted on the branch so that his talons had a better grip on the wood. The cubs did nto frighten him simply because most knew better than to try to eat somethng like him for dinner

Msuko still peered down at Tawa though, and she hopped to the end of the branch, head cocked to the side as she studied the new hairball. "Kree, what brings another ball of fur here?"
The little bee-eater didn't know why she kept coming back here, downstream there were more bugs and less furry things. But they were amusing, and stupid, when they weren't trying to eat her.

Tawa seemed to twiddle his paws, looking down as he speaks quietly "I'm just...looking for something I guess..." He lowers his head, ears folding back

Kel-chan "My pride-cat? Well, she did seem to like me, which is always a good thing.." Laio stifled a little giggle at the thought of the self-possessed Ciyari being 'her' pride-cat. They paced along in silence for another several minutes. Laio narrowed her darkblue eyes as the forest came into view once more, and the sparkle of water where the river that the waterfalls engendered spiralled out into the plains. "Theriver is just there," She nodded, indicating the view ahead. "It's been so dry these last few seasons, some of it is not much more than a small stream. But this area has many waterfalls, many trees, several preybeasts. It is not too bad... except for this drought." She looked sideways at her companion. "Personally I prefer the plains out here... too many cats roaming the place. I need my own territory, I think. I was heading south. There is more space." "Aye, your pride-cat," he echoed, flashing her a grin. "You've met one and survived it, haven't you? That's more than I can say for myself." Shrugging slightly, he fell silent, padding along at her side. His eyes grew hazy at the welcome sight of water, automatically speeding up slightly, then catching himself and slowing back down, matching her pace. He could wait a bit longer... "I think it's lovely... Dunno, I'd actually prefer some company right now. I've had more space than I've needed since birth. It's quite dull being alone."

Tawa watchs the wet cub make his way to the tree and he suddenly gets quiet, not sure what he should do...should he sit there and just be quiet or should he go up and introduce himself

Ignoring the little black bundle of fur, Msuko focused on Tawa. He didn't seem to be lost, but he didn't seem to belong here either. "Kree, how can you look for something when you don't know what you're looking for?"
The birdbrain didn't understand quests, or understanding herself. She slept, ate, teased the furballs. That was the extent of her brain waves, and of her day.

Laio, with her nervous energy, gave a little skipping step as her eyes lit up. "Ever since we left the coalition... that being my brother and I... I have felt that it is easier to hunt not alone. And of course, there is the company of something other than pride-cats.." She flashed him a grin before looking around. "These lands are rich with life, but a little too many trees for my taste. I had heard that there is a plentiful land further west of here. I was going to investigate it for territory... but one of her own cannot hold territories. But I was looking, all the same." She looked up, suddenly realising that she was rambling on, and looked away with an embarrased expression. "Look, we are near the water, Kimbio."

Tawa looked taken aback by that question, but he answers "I don't know exactly what I am looking for...maybe someplace where I belong...or someone I know...all I know is....I'll know it when I find out" He shrugs a little, laying down, curling his tail around his body

Kimbio was about to reply when her water comment reached his ears. His gaze snapped towards the river, and within moments her was on the bank, drinking deeply from the current regardless of who may be around. After a few minutes, he straightened up and grinned sheepishly back at her, water dripping from his chin. "Ahh...I needed that." Yawning, he sat down, cocking his head curiously while considering her last words. "Hmm...where we? Ahh, right. You're a bit young yet, dontcha think? I mean, even if you did find a place of your own, odds are you'd be chased out of it before you could really take over."

Laio took on a fierce, bold look and struck a pose. "Then I chase 'em away. I might still be young, but I can fight..." Seeing his sceptical look, she dropped her shoulders and looked at the ground. "I had actually hoped on finding some empty territory. I know pride-cats tolerate us hunting on their lands; after all, they take all the best pickings anyway. But I guess... I haven't thought this though much..." It was hard to admit this to herself, and she spun slightly on the spot, before padding down to the water herself, making the cursory inspection for danger before drinking the clear water herself.
