Rowena Marion PirateEire Kawaii_Senpai *walks in* I'm bored Whats going on in here? Rowena is drowning kittens. O_O; So, church internship would be... the internship process to becoming some kind of churchy higher-up, correct? ah! *thwaps pirate!* I am NOT! it's techincally a bi-vocational leadership program. It's like a crash course in church service....it's a little different for each member, but man, it pushes you and forces you out of your confort zone. Former interns are now serving as youth pastors, nursery directors, kids chuch directors...all over the place. One became a missionary. It's insane the amount of change one undergoes...the spiritual growth. basically, we get the privilage of working our tails off (even more so than now, since I basically hang out with interns all the time anyway), and get our hands really dirty (in the hard work sense--lol) in minstry. It's an amazing program, and I have so much faith in it...And I would love the chance to be a part of it. we shall see what happens of it. and I am Not drowning kittens. just flies. jk.

PirateEire Rowena Marion PirateEire OH MY F gonk CKING GOD!!! I FAIL AT LIFE. (See journal...) Have I told you how much you entertain me? because you do. Alot. And this is so funny. At least now you can go ahead and really enjoy the book. and you don't fail at life--not yet, not because of missing one book release. I dislike missing book releases. The painful ones are the ones that I know are out, that I cannot get for whatever reason. Back when Anne Bishop's new book "Sebastian" came out, my girlfriend (who got me into Anne Bishop in the first place) and I went to B&N. Where they previously had two copies that neither of us could afford, they now only had one. So, being the whipped fool kind and understanding girlfriend I am, I let her purchase it, then decided to run around and see if I could find myself a copy... I searched at least 10 bookstores, and no one had it. Now my girlfriend is finished reading hers and she said that it sucks and it's not nearly as good as the BJT or TAT... But she'll lend it to me... I HAVE BEEN ACHING FOR HER TALENT, ANNE BISHOP. So, I drove myself nuts over a book that supposedly sucks? Did Ro or Takai read it? Hm hm hm? I know you two like Anne Bishooopp.... Was it good? *GLOMPS* You like Anne Bishop!!!!! I like you muchly now. I currently own Black Jewels, and Dreams Made Flesh, the first of the Fae books Pillars of the World, and I'm working on getting t'others. w00t. And yes, whenever Takai says "Ro" he means me.

DemigoddessHalfdemon *GLOMPS* You like Anne Bishop!!!!! I like you muchly now. I currently own Black Jewels, and Dreams Made Flesh, the first of the Fae books Pillars of the World, and I'm working on getting t'others. w00t. And yes, whenever Takai says "Ro" he means me. This I know. I almost like the Tir Alainn Trilogy better than the BJT and dreams made flesh... plotwise. However, the BJT has much more addictive characters. Lucivar is probably my absolute favorite, and Karla, Surreal, Saetan, what have you... I love them all. Daemon does bother me from time to time, but he's alright. They say that if you read the BJT, you're either a Lucivar person, or a Daemon person. I'd be a Lucivar person. razz But yes, Morag and Ashe in TAT are very intriguing people, but I do feel the books shift focus a little too dramatically once you hit the second book. It's sort of like... "WTF HAPPENED TO ARI!?" I do so enjoy the antics of the Bard and the Muse as well. <3 Yay for the Fae! (That aren't ignorant b xd tches!) I was shocked when Takai said "You like Anne Bishop too!?" I was thinking... "You... know who Anne Bishop is!?" Very exciting. She has such a small fanbase, yet so much talent. She is highly underrated... So I'm glad it's possible to randomly run into some of her fans. biggrin

Perhaps the same will happen with Sebastian in the... Epe-something trilogy. As far as the Fae are concerned, I always sort of didn't trust them from the start in PotW. They were a tad ignorant and elitist for my tastes. The only thing that could have justified an elitist attitude from them would be... not being ignorant, but they were not, and alas, I disliked at least Diana (was that her name?) and her brother. i like burnination never heard of Ann Bishop. they sound like romance fantasy novels. o__o; not something i'd be too interested in. No, not that(well not specifically...), Get your mind out of the Gutter! scream I tried getting Contacts when I was 18 so I could get teh solid Red ones for Halloween, but as my optomotrist informed me, they don't make contacts in my size. At least they didn't then, so the chances of getting Novelty Contacts in my Size are pretty slim. sad
