normally in the game you can obviously see he loves Aerith but with a little work you can make it so that he goes on a date with Tifa or Yuffie ( its supposed to be Aerith if you don't do anything out of the normal) I've heard rumors that you can even date Barret by being incredibly disrespectful to all the girl's questions

Well this topic is easy...
Tetsyua Nomura, You know the guy that brought us FFVII and Advent Children, has already stated that Tifa and Cloud live together, and they adopted Denzel as they son, so......Hate to be the bearer of bad news Tifa wins this bout.
Cloud if he ever did like Aeris, it was because he was still thinking he was Zack....etc etc.

Sephiroth winged one Aries of course thats #1 reason whay he hates Sephiroth so much Actually, he hates Sephiroth because he killed his mother, burned his village to the ground, and tried to kill Tifa and Zack. Tifa is the whole reason he became the person he was. He loved her since childhood, though from afar. He left his town to prove to her he was something, not just a kid nextdoor.

I think it was definantly Aeris...
He had a crush on Tifa and really adored her but he loved aeris. Another reason why even after two years and the whole long story of Advent children he still regreted Aeris's death and felt bad for failing to protect her (the one he loved).

Another reason why even after two years and the whole long story of Advent children he still regreted Aeris's death and felt bad for failing to protect her (the one he loved). #1: they were child hood friends and again met at midgar
#2: cloud made a promise to tifa. and a promise is important in final fantasy games

Tifa and Cloud have loved each other for years, but it's a best friend kind of love.
Aeris and Cloud would make the best couple.. but she's dies.
Yuffie's a bit immature, but then again, she's Cloud's opposite personality. I'm all for the belief of "opposites attract" because opposites complete each other. So, if you gave Yuffie a few more years, she'd be perfect for Cloud. But she's not.
But Yuffie needs to lay off the materia a bit. That's probably what makes her so hyper. lol
