*points them out* That's Max. That's Brian. Chuck you've met... unfortunately. And those two are the pledges. They don't have names.
*The guys nodded their hellos. It was probably best that Cora was still wearing her coat.*
*Max was the first to say to Cora.* "Hey, you want a beer?"

Uuhhm... yes.

Drink up. Our beer is your beer. *Thank God, they were starting to drink. Luke had earned it.*
*Luke popped his forty and took a long swig.* Aw... that is awesome. *Luke ripped a burp.*
*Mike didn't have to shout. One of the pledges got up, picked up a beer, and handed it to Cora.*

Oh, thank you... uhm... pledge. Why is it that you don't have a name?
:::She asked him consolingly... taking the top off her beer as though it were a familiar wine bottle. It wasn't a twist off either...:::

*The pledge - who was actually named Dave - was just about to pop the bottle for her with an opener, when he saw Cora take the top off with her hand.* "Holy s**t," he said. "How'd you do that?"
*Luke saw what transpired. s**t. s**t....*
*He stammered until he said.* "Hey!" *He walked up intimidatingly to the pledge, who was indeed at least 5 inches shy of Luke's height.* "Hey! You just curse at my cousin, pledge?"
*This gained the attention of his fellow frat brothers, glad for the altercation.* "Yeah, what the ********!" Mike shouted. "You don't use that language in front of a lady."
*After a moment of glaring, Luke backed off. He didn't need for this to get physical, especially since this pledge had quite possibly saved his and Cora's necks.* "Christ," Luke said.
*Chuck who was in the middle of eating potato chips added.* "You kiss your mother with that mouth?"

*Luke nodded to Cora, but .... He had to take this situation off of her and put it back onto the pledge. Though Luke pretended not to, he knew the pledge's name was Dave.*
"You know," Luke said, focusing back on the pledge. "I think our pledge here is forgetting his place."
*His frat brothers nodded in agreement. The second pledge stood stationary, trying to blend into the background.*
*Luke looked up in deliberation.* "You know, I think it's time to remind him where he stands."
*Dave, the pledge, looked terrified.*
*Max asked, rather conversationally.* "What'd you have in mind, Brother Luke?"
"Well..." *Luke walked up and put his arm around the pledge's shoulder.* "You know, not many people know it, but ... This pledge's real name is Dave."
*Chuck protested.* "Hey, whoa. No names."
*Luke put up a calming hand.* "I know, I know.... But in this case, I think we can make an exception. Cuz I think Dave likes to drive. Do you like to drive Dave?"
*The pledge nodded all too quickly.* "Yeah."
"See. Dave likes to drive. I think Dave could be a good driver. No, I think Dave could be a great driver ..... of the drunk bus."
*Max and Chuck laughed, finally getting where Luke was going.* *Max added.* "So you're saying that Dave here. Could be DESIGNATED DAVE for his remaining days as a pledge."
*Chuck snickered.* "Maybe we'll start calling him Dave."
*Luke let go of Dave's shoulders.* "You know, I think we should."
*Chuck and Max went with that, making plenty of comments about how Dave would like it. It would be fun. He'd get to drive the Drunk Van. This was a huge responsibility. They only hoped he was up for it...*
*Luke walked back over to Cora. He squeezed her shoulder.* "S'alright," he said just loud enough for her to hear. "Just watch it tonight."

That strength of yours, supergirl.
*From there, Luke went back to berating the pledges. This went on for quite some time. The frat brothers never seemed to tire of it. In that time, they drank up most of the case and made plenty of jokes that Cora couldn't quite get.*
*After a few moments, Luke said to Chuck.* "Hey, hey. The everclear's not everything." *He takes a circular object out of the brown paper bag. It's a Guinness clock that says "It's Beer 'O Clock."*
*Chuck laughed.* "Nice! This shall grace the wall of 1007."
*Max commented.* "You guys and your dorm room."
"Suite," Chuck corrected. "It's called a suite."
"Yeah, whatever, p***y. You guys want to forsake the house that's your business."
*Though it took some courage on his part, the second pledge (who's name was Allen) asked.* "Why don't you live at the house?"
*Max turned to Luke. He looked right at him.* "Yeah, why DON'T you live at the frat house, Luke?"

:::All the while Cora was nursing the beer. Not just nursing in fact, she hadn't taken a sip. While the others were distracted with the telling of really bad jokes, none of which made sense to Cora anyway, she took a sniff...then a small swig:::
:::Immidiately she started hacking and coughing:::

*Luke was about to answer. Then, he heard Cora loudly hacking. He turned around.... to find her holding a Budweiser. What the ********? With all the commotion, he hadn't noticed.*
"Whoa, whoa, whoa.... Pledge! You gave her a Budweiser?" *Luke took it from her hands.* "I'm sorry, babe." *He ordered the pledge.* "Get her something respectable."
*The pledge got her a Corona from the fridge. This time, Luke used the bottle opener on his keychain to open it for her, just to avoid any more attention.* "There, that's better."

:::She nodded thankfully, catching her breath again. She sipped the Corona just fine this time. The fiz sort of tickled, but she seemed to have no problem with it otherwise:::

*Not a moment after Cora took a sip, Aimee Whittaker breezed into the frat house and stepped into the kitchen. She was decked out in a silver top that hung on one shoulder, a short black skirt, and heels that tied at the ankles.*
*She too carried a bottle in a brown bag in tow.*
Helloooo, Phi Kappa Sigma! *She greeted.*
