Sanji grabbed his shirt and wrapped it tightly around his leg, soon giving his shirt a slight red to it. He stood up, dripping wet and looked down into the water.
"Kris. Get your a** back up here now!"

Hearing Sanji's call, Kris finished off the rest of the sharks. All that was left were blots of black and red...and the odd piece of flesh that floated down.
Climbing back on the boat, she shook herself off like a dog, grinning mischeviously, and chuckling to herself.

Scott watched the events unfold, simply standing on the deck looking out at the event from beneath his hat. Normally, he wouldn't have hesitated to jump in after them, but he knew that he would be nothing but a liability in the water when his only weapon required speed to cause damage. The added resistance of the water would prevent him from doing any sort of real damage with his staff and he refused to be a burden on Kris and Sanji so he simple stood on deck. He smirked as the two of them climbed out of the water again, all still alive and appearing like they would be alright. "Nice job guys," he muttered, turning his gaze to the ground in shame. He felt bad now that he knew that the two of them had been injured during the fight and the fact that he wouldn't have been any real help didn't console him. He believed that he could have taken the injuries for them, at the very least.

"Yes Scott...thank you so much for coming to our rescue..." The voice that came out of her mouth was not like Kris'. It was more gutteral...more feral.
Her canine teeth showed slightly, ending in jagged points, and her claws were long and graceful. Fur went up to her elbows and knees, and blended into her skin, a soft mottled brown color. Her eyes had turned to slits in the bright sunlight, taking on a golden green hue.
Black ran down from several wounds, but it didn't seem to bother her. Kris just laughed it off.

He drummed his fingers along the table top as he looked down at the map. "What the hell are you showing me here King? I don't get it. An outer world? What are you talking about?"

Halfway through her barking laugh, Kris froze up instantly. Her eyes went wide, and she rested her head in her hands, hoping that the pain of her claws in her skull would wake her up from this nightmare.
'Kill...there are people...defenseless...kill...kill them...'
'I can't! These are my friends!'
"Kill them...they will only...use you...they will think...you're a monster...they don't deserve...life...kill them...'
Yelping as pain coursed through her mind, she scampered off before her other half completly took over.

Scott had felt even worse after the insult. He didn't know that it wasn't Kris because he had just recently learned that she was part super and was apparently involved with VILLAIN's plans of attacking. Leaning up against the railing, Scott's eyes fell downward, unable to look anyone else in the eye, especially Sanji or Kris. He reached into his pocket and lit up a cigarette, taking a particularly long drag off of it and letting it flow out of his body naturally until he needed a breath of frexh oxygen. He then stuck it between his lips and sighed, glad for the dose of nicotine. His mind was a little less clouded, but he still felt terrible about what he had done and felt the need to explain himself. He pushed himself back off the rail and followed the path that Kris had taken. "Kris?" he called out every few seconds, trying to figure out where she had gone.

"Scott...! Don't come any closer! I can't control..."
Kris had hidden in a small corner, her furry arms wrapped around her legs. Her head rested against a wall, golden green eyes wide in fright when she heard Scatt call out.
"I can't...sounds...sounds in the deep..."

Scott caught a glimpse of Kris hiding in the corner and paused, stopping his approach to comply with her wishes. He sensed a frightened tone in her voice and wanted to do something to help her, especially after the episode in the water where he had stood, looking on helplessly as she fought off the sharks with Sanji. "I just wanted to appologize for my lack of action," he told her, his gaze fall slightly downward once again. He still didn't think that he deserved to be able to look her in the eyes, but he couldn't turn his head completely. His ears had picked up the words 'can't control' and he didn't want to be caught by surprise. His staff was held loosely by his side.

She placed a clawed hand on the wall, and stood up. "Look at me, Scott. This is what I truly am. When I became a halfbreed, I became part human...part something else. Gill had said that my abilities came out when I'm angry...when I asked him a little after, he said he didn't know anything. He also lied when he said he didn't know his own, but Joker said that he himself had witnessed them."
She let her eyes bore into him. "Do you know what tonight is? The full moon. That's why VILLIAN is attacking tonight. Everything is finally piecing together..."

Scott could feel her eyes on him and he glanced up at her, straightening his back slightly. "What does the full moon have to do with anything?" he asked confusedly. It had made a bit of sense to him up until she mentioned tonight being the full moon. It was true, of course, but he couldn't see how it mattered in any way. "I knew that Gill was lying to us abou some things, but that's pretty rediculous. Why would he feel the need to lie to us about all this stuff?" he muttered, shaking his head slightly. He didn't expect her to know the answer to the second one, but he assumed that she would be able to explain the full moon thing to him.

"Anger is the key. It unleashes power...but the moon brings out power...to its limit. The fangs, the claws, the fur, the eyes...doesn't it make sense at all? Lycanthropes. I'm part human...part lycan. Why do you think I do so well around animals? How come I seem like a different person sometimes?"
She stepped out of the dark corner, her pupils going from large, round orbs, to this slits.
"In other words, I'm part werewolf."

Scott nodded slightly as she stepped out of the shadows, looking her up and down. "So VILLAIN is choosing to attack while you are at your strongest?" he asked, still very confused. It didn't seem like a good plan, tactically speaking, but maybe something else was wrong with Kris that would weaken her while she was transformed. It was quite obvious that she was much more powerful when she had transformed, to him at least. He had seen how easily she had ripped the sharks to shreds, even if he had been too afraid of being useless to help.
