Nikolai tensed when Misaki pushed open the door, the sunning shinning down on him. He hadn't been in the sun for as long as he could remember. Keeping a tight hold of her hand, Nikolai walked with her, afraid that if he let go he'd burn and turn to dust. But he kept his eyes down, the sun a bit harsh to his vision.

Misaki turned and smiled to him as she continued walking, soon coming upon the coffee shop. ((I'll post there.))

Akki pushed open the heavy door, peering around before making her way to a table in a quiet corner of the library. Dropping her heavy stack of books on the table, she slipped into a chair facing the corner, her back to the room. Her shoulders hunched dejectedly as she pulled a journal out of the pile. Hair fell forward as she bent over the book, hiding the anguish as she began to write.

Ruo walked into the library, looking around, as he tried to get the bright pink scarf off from around his neck. He need to get away from the three females in the house, and wlaing around was the only place to do that. Victorious over the scarf, he tucked it into his back pocket, not caring or noticing that the end was dragging on the floor. It wasn't quite what he was used to, it was better. He began to wander around, browsing through books, heel tapping and head nodding slightly to the beat of the music playing through his over sized headphones, the sound turned low on purpose.

Mina opened the doors a crack and peeked inside, seeing if there was anybody inside. She slipped inside and saw a bright pink scarf trailing on the floor. Tilting her head with curiousity, she went over to where it was and was suprised that a guy was the owner. "Erm . . . Your scarf is dragging on the floor . . ."

Ruo blinked, hearing a voice, half understanding the words. Turing off his MP3 player, which was tucked away in his pocket, he pulled his headphones doesn, looking over at her. "Huh? Oh...yeah. The scarf." He blushed slightly, picking up the end. "It isn't really mine...My sister just kind of tackled me and put it on me while I was leaving the house. I mean, I wouldn't wear something pink optionally. Pink isn't a bad color it's just..." He blushed again, and blinked. Tucking the other end of the scarf into his other back pocket, he scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, I'm rambleing..."

Mina grinned and nodded "Your sisters tackled you, and you couldn't get the scarf off? You know, pink could deffinately be one of your colours . . ." She said, teasing him a bit.

He blushed a little more at her first comment, a little more after her second. "I have three sisters. They outnumbed me..." He closed the book that was still open in his hand and put it back on the shelf. "Ah, rude of me...My name's Inruomrias, but I prefer Ruo."

Mina nodded, smiling. "Ah. That would explain it." She shifted the weight of her messenger bag to her other shoulder. "That's a neat name. I like it. I'm Mina."

"Yeah." He looked back towards the books. "Thanks. My mother is insane." He shook his head. "Mina. It's simple. Pretty," he said, reaching for a book, and bringing it down. "So...um...been here long?" He asked, trying to make conversation. Of course not being the most outgoing to people, his conversations were usualy fairly limited until he got to know someone better, and that didn't happen often. Maybe this was a chance to change that.

Mina laughed a little. "I guess. Maybe a year or so? I still feel as if I'm new though . . . I barely know anyone. Don't get out much, I guess." She shrugged, as if it didn't really matter. She spent most of her time inside writing songs she would never put music to, or reading poetry to her bird. She looked up at him, "What about you?"

"A few hours," Rou said, putting the book back. "I just moved." He picked out another book, looking at the cover. "Well, we may have something in common. I never got out much either."

Mina nodded, "Heh. I just never have anything to do. Sometimes I go to the gardens to write my songs. But not really with anybody." She set her bag down rather carefully, not wanting any of the contents to spill out like last time. It's so hard to get ink off the floor. She scanned the shelf he was looking at and pulled out a book near the bottom that caught her eye.

"You write songs?" Ruo looked at her from the corner of his eye, tilting his head slightly. "As in lyrics or music, or both?" Perhaps it was another thing they had in comic. Then again, Ruo usually just sat down and started to play notes on the keyboard, then going in later and adding whatever he wanted.
He flipped to a page in the book, looking over a page, before puting the book in his hand back onto the shelf.

Mina nodded absent mindedly. "Lyrics. I don't know how to play anything . . . Nor do I have any instruments." She plopped down to read the first few pages of the book in her hands.
