You still haven't told me much." Says Reaver. He is still having a battle within his conscience on whether he should help Damon or Jagger. He knows he's going to have to choose eventually.

Jagger sighed,she was so close to escaping this ceonversation and was pulled right back into it.She turned gazed into Reaver's eyes as if she could look into his soul through them."Not everything is meant to be understood,Reaver...And not everyone is meant to be helped."she said with a calm yet strange voice.

Jagger couldn't help but laugh at Reaver.She smiled and shook her head."You should look into investing in a dictionary,my friend.It might extend your vocabulary."she said with a friendly voice.

"Ite is because I'm obsessed with what is known as the truth. It's been harder and harder to find. I want to know all this about you because your odd. Different. You have in you the power to change everyone you come in contact with, but you try to leave them alone. With the power you have, why? I also want to know if Damon's anger is correctly placed. I don't think you would kill someone for no reason." Says Reaver in a slightly depressed voice. He was having fun laughing. Laughing just isn't something you hear in the city anymore. Just gunshots.

Jagger's face became blocked,as if there was something hidding her expression.In a grave tone,she said,"I leave them alone...because everyone who gets close to me,dies...You and Alexander are the only two who have not yet been killed in something tragic or simple...It's strange really...Perhaps,I am the one who dies this time."she was gazing at teh ground as she finished.

"You got that wrong. Me and Alex have reasons to survive, so we won't die until we have failed. I survive to help other people get through their problems. Alexander survives to protect you. And don't think your going to die. You have a good heart, even if you don't know it. That strong heart will guide you, and hopefully help you. And the only person I can think of that would even think about wanting to kill you is Damon. And that is going to be hard for her if I don't help her. By the way, why did you tell me to take Damon away after she attacked you? asks Reaver.

Jagger was unconvinced but also moved by his words.She looked him straight in the eye and said,"Because if she stayed there then I would be tempted to kill her...."her voice was grave and serious.

"Well then you showed some self-control. That's good. That was your heart working for you. If you had killed Damon, I would have gotten angry. She is a lycan after all. But I probably would have acted differently than you. I have less self-control than you. You also said that her brother was dead when you got there. What happened? Damon even saw you kill him. So what actually happended?" Asks Reaver.

Jagger sighed,tired.She did not take kindly to looking back on her past.And if Reaver thought she had a good heart because of her actions now...that was all about to change in a few moments.
"Dimitri and I were very....close.His death was a terrible accident....My old elders provoked me...They taunted me,kept telling me to show them my true power...I knew I wasn't ready....And then Dimitri came and got in the middle of it all...Then I discovered his body was nothing more than soil and bones...Then...."all the sudden Jagger collapsed to the ground,the sky above her spinning like crazy.

Reaver rushes to pick Jagger off the ground, pulling her into an up-right position. "Jagger? What happened? Are you all right?" He asks in a concerned tone.

Alexander began to get bored sitting atop the statue, waiting for the return of Jagger. He did not want to come down unless something was going on but he did not enjoy the feeling he was getting while he waited. He reached into his inner jacket pocket, pulling out a cigarette, liting it, blowing a puff of smoke out into the air. He found himself become a little more calm but the ill feeling he had did not seem to go away, completely.
