Xol was in his chambers, snoring loudly and shrewdly hogging all the covers. His head was sandwiched between two pillows and half of his body was covered with a mountain of sheets while the other poked out. He was twitching slightly, most probably from a dream he was having.
Although his body was completely healed, his mental sharpness was still bleak. Much sleep would still be required.

Kuro Okami Kuro opened her eyes sleepily, moving closer to Irvine. She leaned on his shoulder and felt a small pain fill her heart, what little of it belonged to her. "Lets stay like this for awhile, just for awhile." She whispered softly and closed her eyes again. OOC: I'm afriad thats all I can type for awhile. I came down with the flu just this morning. . .urgh. . .bye! sweatdrop Irvine wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into an embrace. He nodded slightly as she whispered into her ear. Knowing that he wouldn't be able to have her for long drove him insane. The one person he truly had found comfort with was leaving him. It was just so unfair. As she drifted back into sleep he kissed her lightly on the lips then just rested his cheek on her head while she rested her head on his chested. He just sat there awhile, embracing the one good thing that was left in his life of darkness."...." After a long while, Irvine felt the same burning on his back. His tattoo telling him somthing was wrong. He sighed. He gently leaned Kuro back up against the rock enterance to Xol's cave. He left another white rose and black lilly and began walking towards the BC."I have to take some business...I'll be right back love...."

Kuro woke, not finding Irvine at her side. She had come back to tell him that she was leaving, maybe for good. She got to her feet and made her way into the keep.
She found the room where she had left her belongings and packed them. She took one last look around and sighed. She exited the Keep and headed for the forest.
OOC: That's about all i can type for now, see ya! xd

Raven shadowed from her place in the lounge. It wasn't complicated to find who she was looking for with such a distinctive scent and characteristic, even if hidden, it was simple to find.
She reformed back in the main bedroom, her arms still coiled lightly around a pillow in front of her as her eyes narrowed on Xol sleeping deeply on the bed; ignoring the few strands of deep claret hair that blocked her view.
Her lips bowed gently as they parted, letting out a faint laugh like sigh.
" What have you been doing... "
She cooed, walking to the side of the bed, her tail swaying behind her in a gentle fashion as her ears tucked back against her skull. She leaned downward, curling her hair back over one shoulder as she set the pillow in her arms down on the bed. She edged the covers from his cheek and kissed him gingerly.
"Wake up love.."
She purred in his ear, sitting on the side of the bed next to him, allowing her hand to rest on his back.

The image of Xol in the bed dissolved into a plume of mist. It was nothing more than an after-image of him. It was a simple trick that he used to drawn unwanted attention while he was out. The power signal of the decoy was set higher then the real Xol which just happened to be in the Dojo at the moment.

Raves eyes widened and she whined, pulling back both her arms and standing up faster than she could even recall. Her eyes were still dead set on the bed and she growled deeply to herself, flustered and slightly thrown off. "Jack a**." She snapped under her breath, narrowing her eyes in slight frustration as she dropped her arms to her sides. whee
She let off a light shiver, still spooked from illusion. She thought of going to look at the Dojo, but was slightly scared for her safety with those two strangers there. She realized, if there was a problem, she could just leave or if Xol was there she was sure he wouldn't let them bother her. So, with out any other thought or questioning, she left the keep to take a look around.

The figure, covered in gashes, bruised and beaten, had finally made it back to the one place that she hoped still wanted her.
It was hard to recognize her. Her eyes were clouded, her hair was stained with blood as well as chunks torn out of it, her skin was pale, and her once strong resilant body had became a weakend piece of skin and bones.
Yet she still had hope, that the one she had come for was still there and waiting.
She managed to pull herself to the entrance of the cave, her hand reaching up shakily to touch the runes that would let her inside. She gasped at the effort and pain, much worse than being burned alive.
She smiled as the runes gave her entrance, then her head hit the floor. Her blue eyes were half open and she finally closed them, knowing that for the moment, she was safe.

Irvine had been at his cave when he remembered he'd left somthing at Xol's keep. He took the shortest route he knew to the Keep. He wasn't going to be long. Besides he needed to find Kuro. He trudged on through until he came along the familiar cave. Though there was somthing amiss. A body of a person was sprawled out on the inside of a cave. Which meant that this was indeed a friend however who it was had yet to be discovered. He walked over to the lifless figure and bent down beside it.
"Now...who are you?"
Irvine flipped the body over and his eyes widned in shock and fear. It was Kuro. His eyes were large and his heart had skipped a beat and was now beating harder than ever in his chest. He scooped her up in his arms and took off into the Keep. There was a flash as Irvine entered and he began running down a hallway. He shouted.
"Computer! Acknowledge Irvine Gray! Open the lab doors!"
There was a hiss-snap and two large iron doors at the end of the hall opened. Irvine ran into the lab. He laid Kuro in a healing tank then turned to a control panel. Damn it! This was not a good time to be technologicly challenged. He just started pressing buttons. Suddenly there were a few lights blinking and then a glass container came down over Kuro's head and sealed her inside. Red liquid started pouring in. Irvine was pretty sure it was a good thing. He sighed as he watched her.
"Kuro..."

Kuro opened her eyes slowly, feeling something different in her surroundings. She was still slightly unfocused, but she could feel the liquid around her.
She was not dead, she knew that much. Her eyes focused on the person outside the container. She tried to move closer, but pain ran through her body.
Slowly and carefully she moved a bit forward and her eyes focused on the one person she had come back for. Ignoring the pain she placed a hand on the glass container and smiled.

Irvine smiled back. He placed his hand on hers. Though there was atleast an inch of glass between the two Irvine felt like he could feel her hand. Her warmth. A single tear ran down the side of his face. He brushed it off with a flick of his thumb. He smiled up at her and kept his hand there just watching her.
"Kuro...."

Kuro's smile was sad, and she pulled her hand back. The liquid was cold, she brought the hand to her chest in an effort to warm herself, she didn't like the container. Her heart had started to beat faster and a feeling of entrapment came to her.
She moved again to the side of the container, placing both hands on the glass as well as her forehead. Her fingers curled and her shoulders shook, she couldn't tell if she was crying or not.
'let me out' her spirit whispered.

Irvine saw her face at the side of the container. He could tell somthing was wrong. He turned back towards the console and started punching in random buttons. Finally the water began to drain and the glass moved up. Irvine moved forward and jumped up on to the tank. He took Kuro in his eyes and hugged her close.
Kuro...I...I...."
He couldn't speak. All he could do was hold her close and cradle her body.

"I came back. . ."She whispered. "I came back. . .I came bac-" She kept repeating it.
Her body was limp and she kept trembling. She was still covered in gashes, but the blood flow had seemed to stop. Her clothing was ripped and torn, her weapons gone, her hair had chunks torn from it.
She smiled though, absorbing Irvine's warmth. She moved her head, her forehead meeting his cheek, however small the gesture the meaning was clear.
"It's o-okay. . ." she comforted. It was ironic that she was comforting him, even though it was her that was worse for wear.

Irvine placed a hand on Kuro's cheek. He brushed it lovingly. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around Kuro's body. He then slid his arms around her and lifted her up. He carried her out of the lab and into the hallway. He pushed open a door to a room and laid her gently on the bed. She was still mumbling and he shushed her. He kissed her forehead.
"You must rest....save your strength for sleep."

She clasped his hand, unwilling to let go, hoping that this was real and that it wasnt a dream. Her mind flashed with horrific images of the few days before, it had been much worse than anything she had gone through.
"Don't leave. .." she breathed weakly. "Not yet. . ."
Something gleamed from the side of her neck, the dirt and bruises covering it until now. It was a tattoo, it gleamed a bright pink.
The kanji's of strength, honor, mercy, and love, intertwined together.
