congrats! that's awesome!
omg my alto section's huge next year! 18 altos between three bands ( about 6 each ) we need three marching section leaders instead of two -___- only a couple baris and tenors tho. they're all graduating and/or moving. 3 baris moving one graduating crying all the good tenors are gone too except micheal.

I play the Alto Sax and I'm moving to Tenor next year. I'm hoping to get a midi saxophone controller thing someday though...that'd be cool.

Our sax section is going be huge next year too, but its mostly in-comming freshmen -_-; I dont have anything against them, but it.. takes a while for them to get used to the whole highschool thing. Marching is going to be fun...
Hey, do you any of you have a good site with some sax music? I've gone through the books I have, and my fingers are itching for some new stuff. Thanks!

I play Tenor Sax, and I think we're the most underappreciated instrument in our band ^^
Random: I used to play flute (which I hated, no offense to anyone), and I think that's what helped me a lot when I switched to Tenor Sax. A lot of the fingerings for the notes are the same

I play all saxophones but I march with bari and also when it comes to competitons like all-valley i go with Bari sax. But now im in bassoon and im in Guard for marching.
